Delivery was quick. The globe is ok for size, but not the easiest thing to get batteries into, and feels like it will easily break when doing so. Used as a quick reference.

Great Christmas present. Nice night light globe. I took off a star because removing the globe from the stand to install the batteries makes you think you're going to snap it, and I'm not convinced I won't in future.

Good for younger children ( up to 10 years old) not recommending for teenagers. I bought it as a present for13 years old and he doesn't like it, the application is too childish for him.

Nice medium-sized globe of the earth. My geography of the earth isn't good, but I believe that the countries are in the right place on it. They're very easy to see, I think that we shall benefit from having this in our home. At least our children and ourselves shall be able to improve our geography from it. Which is exactly why I ordered it. I'm not good at astronomy either, so I can't confirm the placements of the constellations, but they're not very clear to see either; although at first I put in 2 fully charged up AA batteries I did have some difficulty getting the lights on at first. I had to remove, replace, and roll the batteries before the lights came on. There's 3 small round indication lights on the battery case, which is removable from the bottom of the earth. It comes with a plastic frame that needs assembling onto the globe, which is very easy to do. It also has a sturdy hard plastic base, too. Even though the constellations aren't clear to see, they work as a nice lamp for some low mood lighting, which gives off a nice ombience. Overall, I rate it 4 stars due to the very low, unadjustable lighting and the unclear constellations on it. Considering that it currently costs £27.99, it's a bit too pricey.

Educationally brilliant

The print is so small, that it is illegible. The light is dim and mostly illuminates the top. It may be suitable for a toddler, as a football, but the battery/light case fell apart upon assembly. It might function as a night light, but only if the child isn't afraid of the dark.

Der Globus wird als Zusammenbau-Set in Einzelteilen geliefert, die man selbst zusammenfügen muss. Er ist kleiner als gedacht, aber für Kinder ganz okay. Die Sprache spielt keine Rolle, da eh nur die größten Städte auf dem keinen 20cm Globus aufgedruckt sind. Unsere beiden 2,5 jährigen Jungs waren recht interessiert es zu entdecken, auch wenn Sie es vermutlich noch nicht ganz verstehen. Der Globus selbst ist aber auch eine dekorative und bunte Kinderzimmer-Leuchte - leider ohne Ein-Aus-Schalter, so dass man immer den USB-C Stecker abziehen muss. Insgesamt fürs Kinderzimmer eine schöne Sache - wenn die Kids größer werden darf es dann auch gern ein etwas größerer sein.
