The stick just over 6 feet long; it is about 2.5 cm thick at the thinner end and increases to over 3 cm thick at the base. The stick that I received weighs close to 1 kg, it grossly exceeds the advertised weight of 400 grams. By and large, the dimensions match what is advertised by the seller.The stick is made of rattan (often wrongly called cane) which is technically wood. This is good because rattan is much more sturdy and durable and impact-resistant than normal hardwood at this diameters. It is also much heavier than say a bamboo stick because unlike bamboo, rattan is not hollow.The stick was well seasoned and has been given a rough, basic coat of varnish. The surface does have some imperfections. It is not perfectly smooth or straight, as the nodes and cuts offs due to the branch stubs have resulted in knots and bends at regular intervals. In other words, the stick will not slide smoothly in your hands.While rattan usually has considerable flex. it is quite difficult to actually bend this stick. Since the stick is not evenly balanced as it is thinner and lighter at one end and thicker, heavier at the other end; it does not lend itself well to rotation or twirling. Therefore, given its heaviness, knottiness, bends and stiffness and imbalance; it may not be best suited for use as an gym or exercise stick.Depending on the size of one's hand, one may not be able to wrap ones fingers securely around the thicker side of the stick. This is an important consideration if you plan to swing the stick around hard.I am using this stick to shoo away marauding bands of monkeys that are attacking my home garden. Since it is serving my intended purpose quite well, I am giving the product 5 ratings.

It’s not at all a good product. The seller just sent a bamboo can. It’s uneven and not polished. Not at all as shown in the picture. I would recommend not to buy. Also I ordered for 2 units and they sent only one. I am glad that they didn’t send the second one because I want to return this one too.
