Really good juicer, produced 12.5gallons the first use. I do double run the canes on stalks thicker than 1inch. 2" may be a bit optimistic with classic stalks, tropical varieties and chewing canes like POJ are definitely able to be ran by hand up to 2" without cutting. FL Green at 2" would not feed due to cane sheath hardness, once split rand fine. I do plan to add a 3/4HP 56c motor and 20:1 reducer to belt drive next year. Well with the purchase and a means to try cane juce then syrup without spending 2K on an antique that would require matching to belt drive later.

Works great. Itโs best if you cut the sugar canes in half or quarters.

The shipping was a little slow, but I believe it just FedEx. The box was all mess up but the juicer got pack very well. Nothing got damaged or dents. The product looks very clean and well built. It got some weight to it. Everything look simple to used. It also have a decent price so far.

After finding the faucet and handle hiding in the drainage pan and setting it up, I quickly went to work harvesting some sugarcane. I don't have a motor yet, so I did everything by hand. I put the entire cane in to test it out. It was difficult with the thicker canes, but still manageable. It tore through the smaller ones with ease. Like they're not even there. I know once I mount a motor to it, it'll eat through the canes no matter the size without issue. I only ran them through once then gave the leftovers to the animals, or used as mulch on my bananas. I then reduced the juice on the stove in a large pot and poured into a silicone cube tray with 1 tablespoon sized cubes. This machine allowed me to make my own sugar for at least a year and had plenty of leftover juice to enjoy and share with friends. I hope it keeps its integrity through many harvests to come.
