Gas Can Spout Replacement, 5-Kit Gas Can Nozzles Old Style Easy to Install, No-Spill Nozzle Replacement, Upgraded Spouts with Vent Cap, Fit for Most 1/2/5/10 Gallon Cans

These fittings fit my Midwest and Blitz 5 gallon jugs perfectly. Seem heavy enough to last, but so did the Midwest stuff that cracks easily. Midwest is coarse and Blitz is finer threads. The vent caps fit nothing, but the drill and insert vents work fine.

These are exactly as ordered and they fit well into the cans I use now. They are not exact replacements for the old style but they do work and they are exactly what is needed to replace the junk they put on these today.

Spout threads did not match my Secpter gas can. Had to trim small gaskets to put in nozzle cap. Could not put cap on nozzle. Update: My mistake, there were course and fine threads supplied. The course fit may Secpter can. The nozzle caps did not fit but was able to use the other nozzle fitting to use as a spout cap. Change star rating from 1 to 4

The vents break shortly after installed. I have drilled holes with the drill bit provided and pushed in the vent to install. All went well, they leaked a little bit, but not much. I then filled the can used it up. I then snap the vent closed to refill. Brought home the full gas cans and when I lifted the vent lid, it broke off at the gas can so the is no way to close it. This happened to three cans so far, either the second or third time I used them. Now I have a hole I cannot close. Also some of the rings that hold the spout did not fit. I got around it by using the old rings with the new spout.

I absolutely hate the new spouts in the gas cans. I’m guessing you do if you’re looking at these. BUY THEM. I had my gallon in the trash and went to buy a new one when I saw they are all obnoxiously safe. So I figured I’d get one not so child proof on Amazon and those are also over secure. I saw these and took a chance (it’s still 1/3 of the price of a new can). Worked perfectly and luckily I hadn’t thrown the trash in the bin because it’s good as new. Better because the gas just comes out now.

Very good quality, durable and cheap

bought this kit to redo some gas cans in need of help. let me start with the drill bit that comes with the kit is too big of a bit the Hole it makes for the vent hole the vent cap fits way to lose it stays in place but is loose and you can pull it out with no problem. I ended up buying a package of vents that use a bigger that fit great. the kit comes with two styles of spout caps both caps are made to screw on the spout. one cap is made to slip on over the spout with a ring attached so it is secured to the spout but the threaded cap is too small will not screw on thats the cap I prefer to use. so I am stuck using the other cap. it fits just don't lose it because it doesn't attach to the spout at all. I didn't feel like sending it back I made them work. yes they work but I had to buy another package of vents to make this kit work.
