Used this to repair an old clock that i inherited with an old leaking battery which had corroded and destroyed the old movement. The clock was part of a larger display with moving toy cars that belonged to my late uncle. This movement fitted perfectly, even the original hands fitted spot on, seems to keep time accutely after a week. So far very happy with this product, good quality for money.

This appears to be a good item and is well made, but unfortunately it did not fit our clock, it was not long enough to reach the front to put the hands back on. It would have been easy to fit though and would have been fit for purpose, we should have checked the sizes properly before purchasing. Was a good price for what it is.

To be honest, I didn't know you could buy these particular parts. It's for a much loves kitchen clock. Once the faulty mechanism was replaced with this brilliant product, and it's back to its former glory from 25 years ago. Arrived quickly, and instructions clear for my husband to effect the repair.

Bought this to replace a worn-out unit in a rather expensive wall clock. Generally easy to install although pushing the hands onto the shafts without bending them was a bit tricky due to a very tight fit.

I bought this inexpensive mechanism to replace a faulty garden clock. It was easy to install and after o week is still keeping good time. The previous mechanism lasted several years and was protected by a cover that went over the two AA cells. This one has no such cover and so I have used waterproof tape to try to protect them from rain and damp. I have no idea how successful this will be. I’m not sure if it was advertised as indoor AND outdoor use but only time will tell( please excuse the pun)

So many clocks use this standard-sized movement that it's good to know that replacements are easily available at low cost. One thing you may need to check - which I didn't - is that the threaded spindle is the same length as the movement being replaced. Luckily it still fitted, although it was shorter than the original. It works perfectly and keeps good time.

Fitted o.k. just wouldn't work . 1 star for arriving on time.
