I've bought a lot of Switch joycons, first party and third party, and never really been happy with any of them for long. They're "fine" for the most part, but typically they all have similar problems. Small buttons that feel too clicky. Bad or nonexistent d-pads. Wonky vibration (especially most third party joycons). My least favorite of all is that slight wiggle that joycons tend to so often have and develop over time right where they attach the rails that just becomes impossible to ignore.This controller fixes all of those problems. It's one solid unit. The buttons feel fantastic. Dpad is more mushy than soft with nice pivots. Shoulder buttons feel nice, perhaps a little shallow, but still good. Plus and minus buttons are easy to press unlike the hellish normal joycon ones. The vibration is hefty and substantial, really nice weight to it, and it seems to work as it should for all games which is nice. Some third party joycons I've used just don't vibrate for some games, Tales of Vesperia one that comes to mind.Most importantly of all, it doesn't feel cheap. You might be reading the seller's description above, seeing interesting phrasings such as "charging hole" or "accelerate heat dissipation" and get a little worried in combination with the price. Let me put those fears to rest - this thing is really well built, up there with 8bitdo controllers in terms of third party craftsmanship.The only minor issue I could see some people having is with the joysticks if you don't have any Gamecube nostalgia, but they work perfectly and still feel better to the thumb than typical joycon joysticks, at least to me. Regular Switch thumcaps also won't fit, for obvious reasons, but that's not the point here. I personally think it feels in line for the Switch to have Gamecube style C-stick as so few games even require the right joystick that much - that's my personal bias, however.Grab it while it's still for sale. Feels like it breathed new life into my Switch and makes it enjoyable to use in handheld mode again.

I had a very specific need for this. I wanted the sturdy, one piece design of the Switch Lite with the screen of the Switch OLED. This works wonderfully. I like the way it looks, I like the way it feels, and the build quality is good. I am a fidgety person and now my Switch no longer flexes where the controllers connect. I would love to see some color variants of this product, especially Jungle Green or Extreme Green translucent.

it's extremely comfortable in the hands and such an upgrade for handheld gaming it revived my love for the switch.con:The stem of the left stick gets scratched and scared when it presses against the edges.despite that get this instead of the hori pads or anything else its fantastic.
