I ordered this on 10/15/24 . So I have used it ten times about a month. It did well heating up my porta spa. I don't think it's made of Stainless Steel. If you use this guy, rinse it off with fresh water, and possibly open the bottom and spray it down with some oil based protection.Catastrophic failure due to corrosion, my spa is lightly chlorinated. No salt.If I can't get a replacement element I will definitely look for stainless steel construction.

This immersion water heater was great when it functioned because you can set a specific temp, and then it automatically stops heating once it reaches the set temp. The disappointing thing was this only worked for two weeks, and now it kicks off the breaker every time, so the heater was not worth the $46.00 that was spent.

Provided the volume of water is closer to 5 gallons than 20 and starts around room temp, then yes it can heat it up in minutes. However, if it is closer to 20 gallons that is around 68F, it takes over an hour to get to "hot"Summary: At $45 dollars this is a pretty good buy. While it worked rather nicely, our unit will need to be returned because it came with a bum thermometer. It is a nonessential part of the unit but does limit some of it functionality. When reading other reviews be aware that if you do not allow this unit to cool down a bit in the water before you remove it and follow other instructions you will severely reduce its lifespan. Thermocycling anything is a pretty sure way to destroy it. This is a good product and worth the price it is current selling.

This heater did not disappoint when it came to heating our big pool. It doesn't take long to heat up and once it does it keeps it comfortable temperature to swim even at night. We never had any issues with it and shut it off if we weren't using it to be safe.

Heated the water just fine, but it shorted out 2 weeks into use. Do not see a way to contact the vendor

I purchased two and one was defective. It was probably replaced. My gas heater had gone out on my Jacuzzi and parts were backward. I use these devices to heat up about 250 gallons of water. In about 36 hours, the water temperature has risen from 60° to 103°. I was quite pleased.

The heater failed after 4 days of usage. It tripped the ground fault breaker serving it. The heater is pretty much a worthless piece of junk to me now. Not worth what I paid for it. This is my first bad experience with an Amazon purchase.

I just received and was excited to use this electric water heater. It worked well the first day, but on the second day, it just stopped working, It kept popping the circuit breaker off. I tried different extension cords rated for high AMPs and it kept popping the circuit. I tried different temperatures settings, and it would no longer allow me to set the temperature settings and pressing the set button it would pop off the breaker.I have no choice and ask for a refund. Oh ya, after one day it began to get rusted on the outside shell and dripped with rust. See pictures.

Para alberca no funciona, mi papa la pidio pensando que iba a calentar una alberca de tamaño normal y jamas paso, tal vez una tina pequeña de bebe sea otra cosa.

Desafortunadamente mal el artículo, apenas 28abril lo use para calentar el agua y nunca lo calentó. Lo peor estuvo caro el artículo para que NO FUNCIONARA. No le doy ninguna estrella de satisfacción.
