Superb - much, much better than expected
As age and injuries have taken their toll, I have found it harder and harder to move well and to perform well athletically. To counter-act this, in addition to my biking, I started TB12 which includes foam rolling in pre- and post-workouts with the goal of bringing pliability into my fitness regimen, and will soon layer in elements by GMB. Although I have foam rolled on and off for years, with TB12 I have been consistent for 2 months now to good effect. TB12 sells a vibratory foam roller, and I was interested. I noticed it has the studded structure. Now, one of my hand-held rollers has the studded structure, and the net effect of using that is vibratory even without electricity. So, I thought why would I necessarily want electric vibration plus exaggerated structure for vibration? When I searched for alternatives (honestly, I also wanted something cheaper, not more expensive), I came across the hyperice vyper 2.0. I noticed it had a much more modest ridged system but with a wide-ranging powerful vibratory engine. Based on this logic and the reviews, I decided to buy and try. GLAD I DID! THIS THING IS AMAZING! Not sure what the technical term is for muscle hot spots - adhesions? whatever - point is, they melt like butter. My range of movement improved almost immediately, and I move better and longer throughout the day. I will add, it feels way better than foam rolling without vibration. For me, setting 2 is the sweetspot. Setting 1 also has some application. Setting 3 seems too much for me. Next month, I will most likely get the hypersphere if I find I cannot use the vyper for certain applications. Highly recommend!

Better Than a Standard Foam Roller for This 60+ Athletic Gal
I saw this product reviewed in a Sports Illustrated article where it referenced its ability to deliver on myofascial release/trigger point massage, beyond that of a standard foam roller, which I currently use. After researching the product, company and on-line reviews I decided to give it a try. I received my Vyper 2.0 today and have to say it works very well, having used it on my quads, calves and glutes. It charged up in about 20-30 minutes and works exactly as advertised and as outlined in the instruction/user manual. This delivers a far better massage of tight muscles than a standard roller, having a nicely-grooved material that is hard enough to deliver a strong muscle massage. It does vibrate strongly, especially on levels 2 and 3 (and will "walk" across carpeted floor if allowed to) and is not real quiet, but used in my private home these factors are not issues for me. I recommend this product for those looking to relieve tight muscles, just follow the information included with this roller.

Battery sucks
I love this foam roller. But its battery sucks! I have it for less than 3 months and i am able to use it for 10 min twice and have to charge it again. Not worth the price...

not reliable and expensive
bought the Viper 2.0 and the ball. the viper 2.0 came with no instructions and does not charge. THE ball was hard to use and stopped charging after a few months. Both are expensive and should be reliable

It works great..
It works great.........until it stops working. It worked for about a week after I got it, then lost its charge when all of the lights were green. I charged it all night twice and both times it worked 2-3 minutes before losing its charge.

Good Vibes
Very impressive power for the size, and the actual motor is quiet + sounds high-quality. The actual frequencies are in the bass region and the feeling you get from this is similar to a 140dB+ car subwoofer setup: it can make your vision blurry and modulate your breathing. I personally really enjoy that feeling, as it feels like you're being shaken to your core. It's also good to use after yoga or a workout. Take note, however: because it emits basically strong deep bass, using this on the floor of your apartment at 2am will probably drive your downstairs neighbors nuts. The actual vibrations are stronger than a Hitachi magic wand, which runs off of mains power. The foam is quite stiff but feels very high-quality. I also have a cheap stiff closed-cell foam roller (where it's basically made from ~1/8" foam bits molded together) that I've been using for probably 10 years, and I think they're both useful for different things. The Vyper doesn't quite fit my full back, but it does get close. I think it's a decent size, being small enough that you could travel with it but large enough that you don't have to struggle much to fit onto it or re-position it too often.Overall, I think that this is a very high-quality vibrating roller that seems like it should last many years if you don't abuse it. It's a bit pricey, but you do seemingly get what you pay for. There are cheaper products on the market which are similar, but I wanted something higher-quality that will last for years. I also like that it doesn't have some Bluetooth app to control the speed -- it's just a real on/off switch plus a single button on the other end to cycle through the various speeds. A+ UI in that regard.

and they have never felt better. The three speeds provide a variety of massages ...
I’ve been using percussion and shiatsu massager for a long time, but a physical therapist introduced me to the Vyper a few weeks ago. He showed me how to use it for massaging, but also different exercises that literally put a different twist on my upper body muscles. The result is that I bought a Vyper for myself and use it almost every day.The Vyper’s cylindrical shape distributes a strong vibration over a larger area. I use it to massage my hands and feet, among other exercises, and they have never felt better. The three speeds provide a variety of massages that fit my mood and strength that day. As a 70 year old senior citizen, I have to be picky about what I ask my body to do. The Vyper helps me make the right exercise choices by facilitating my strength goals.

Good massager
Works well. Has a specific on/off switch which is handy versus multi function switch on the ball. These vibrate massagers are expensive but they do improve mobility and help with difficult nerve in my leg. I guess the secret is regular use and plain rollers are probably nearly as good and much cheaper. Nonetheless I’m pleased with it and use it regularly.

Powerful, but expensive
After going back to my plain old foam roller, it's really noticeable how much power this thing has, but it's not clear yet if it is really that much more effective.Even without the vibration feature, the roller is nice firm, so you can get some work in without shaking the windows. When all is said and done though, it is hard to justify the price tag, hence 4 stars instead of 5. I'm just not sure if vibration feature really adds £100+ of value.
