It's a big room and I didn't want to clutter it up with monitors, or keep pawing my favorite monitor, moving it this way and that depending on where I've planted myself. Yeah you could say I'm lazy.So I got this because its diameter is about 2" bigger than the monitor base. Gives me room to turn this swiveling stand without touching the monitor. (Why are so many monitors wobbly?)The stand moves the monitor smoothly. Other than that it hasn't changed my life :)I should probably get another for the rest of the clutter on my desk (a partner's desk, over 3' deep). Always reaching over stuff to get to other stuff. Same problem with the kitchen cabinets...knock over things in the front to get things in the back of a shelf. Maybe this winter I'll get to that.

This did exactly what I needed. I have an older flat screen that has a pedestal. This fit perfectly. I wanted something that would allow me to tilt the screen 90 degrees from my normal tv viewing angle so that I could do at home workouts in a cleared out area of my living room. Had no issues with it floating back and seemed to sit in place when adjusted. Only a few days so will update if anything changes. It’s a black plastic that seems sturdy enough.

Sturdy, smooth, and fits my monitor stand without issue. It’s true to size and quality, and perfect for what you pay. Would highly recommend to anyone who wants a little leverage on their non-adjustable monitor, or if you use more than one.

Great product. Works very well for a Dell 28" monitor. Smooth action and very stable. Surface isn't grippy but bumpy.My only note: the item is plastic and feels that way. It doesn't really feel "Heavy Duty." That doesn't have to be bad if you want a lightweight swivel for your monitor. But perhaps "heavy duty" isn't the best way to describe this item.

I use this when building computers and would never go back. When you're attempting cable management, simply spinning the case lightly instead of running around your build area is irreplaceable.At the same time, the bearings are tight enough that the pushing connectors and RAM into your build won't make the case feel like its running away from you.Would highly recommend for anyone who works on or builds computers. You will save yourself time, energy, and mental fortitude.

I bought this product to put my 65" flat screen tv on (along with direct tv box/recorder, dvd player, wireless router, sound bar, etc) after making a 12" x 65" wooden platform. Now my TV rotates 360 degrees and this product was instrumental in making this dream become a reality! I love it. It shipped & arrived very quickly and was inexpensive, yet great durability & quality. I'd gladly do business with this company again!

I am running a hybrid class, and I bought this swivel stand to turn my laptop to face students who are talking. It's a little loud for that, but I should have expected something with ball bearings to make a bit of sound. Otherwise, it's great, which is why I gave it five stars.
