Durable
Thought it would be larger after filling up with water. Faucet hookup leaks bad, hard to fill up. One filled up, we had a blast with. My boys are 17 and 15 and we were rough with it! Good buy. Still have it a five star!

Really fun pool toy
This is a unique pool toy and we had a lot of fun doing underwater passes and dribbles with it on our family vacation. My 9 year old nephew is an athlete and was really into the toy and coming up with new games for it. I'm impressed with the durability too, as it survived being bounced around on the textured concrete around the pool. It takes a while to drain it through the inflation needle but that's not a big deal. It's a great price too, considering the Watermelon Ball costs $22. I highly recommend getting this one.

Did not work as described
Didn't bounce under water as described. Very difficult to fill which was very frustrating especially since all the time to fill it didn't bounce

Fun ball attachment needs work
This was a pretty straight forward toy, fill the ball up with water and sinks instead of floats in pool. Works just like described, I fill it up with 90% water and topped it off with air, this gave it a fun sloshing sound. The only critique I have is the hose attachment had a couple of flaws. The first is not so much a flaw as a extra step needed to install the needle, when i was trying to screw it in it says it hand be hand tightened, I however had to get plier to hold the needle(gently) to finish screwing it in. No big deal but I feel it should be in the instructions. The second flaw is the gasket is not thick enough to create a seal and prevent water from leaking. Again not a big deal but I would not fill it any place you do not want water to go everywhere.

Makes a nice splash when you toss it in.
The needle appears to be a regular needle used to inflate balls, however they have included a black adapter that attaches to an outdoor water faucet allowing you to fill the ball with water instead of air. If the adapter is not on tight, water does go everywhere, during the filling process. Keep the water pressure way low. It worked best for us with one person holding the ball and a second person controlling the amount of water going into the ball.We thought we had fill the ball all the way up, but my son complained that the ball was still floating in the pool, just barely. However, I thought it was great, because if it gets left in the pool, I won't have to swim to the bottom of the pool to get it. It bounces well off of the bottom of the pool, and you can pass it to other people, it just feels like everything is going in slow motion. (Even though it is not really that slow, just slower than passing a ball through the air).

Swim coach approved
I coach a swim team ages 13 - 18 and am always looking for motivating items to add for a fun or challenging set.I expected this to be the standard cheap swim ball but to my surprise, it was not. It came safely packaged and undamaged. The plastic was much thicker than any I have found locally or online. There is a small nozzle that looks like it could probably be filled with air, and a nozzle thing to fill with water. We opted for water. It gives the ball a nice weight but still allows it to float a little. We couldn't get it filled to the point that it would sink like shown in the pictures. Seems to be well made and well worth the $10. Probably will pick up a few more.

Having a ball with this
I've been wanting to get a pool ball, and the colors and design sold me on the Franklin Sports Cannonball Water Ball. I wasn't sure if my family would like it, but it really is a lot of fun!The ball was easy to fill up. It floats about a third out out of water and two-thirds underwater. When you throw it into the water, it will go to the bottom and slowly comes back to the top. You can throw it and dribble it underwater, but we have been using it more to play games above water. My 8-year-old son also likes going down the slide into the pool with it so he can say "cannonball." The ball is a little heavy so it's good exercise for him.I think it's a great value for $9.99. Highly recommend.Update (11/12/2023): My son used this all summer and fall, and it is still going strong as one of his favorite pool toys. He loves throwing it. Great durability and lots of fun.
