Perfect replacement for the Suburban Thermostat in my pop-up RV (Heat only)
I have a Rockwood Freedom Pop-Up RV. The cheap-o Suburban thermostat still worked but it was so awkward that I never new what temperature I was setting or even if I had turned it off. Move a lever...hope for heat...hope it isn't too little or too much...Did I shut it off? Anyway....this Honeywell unit is a direct replacement for these cheap-o Suburban units. Has an OFF/Heat side switch....and with 2 AAA batteries you can see what the temperature is and what you're setting it to. Simple to install...simple to operate....simplicity for peace of mind that it will last more than 2 years. Unit has a lighted display when you press a set temp button...but then goes dark in 5 seconds so you don't have an extra light beaming in your camper at night.

Great for Arrowhead Chalet Camper Thermostat replacement
This is very simple for very simple applications. Our trailer has an Atwood RV heater in it with an old analog thermostat. It wouldn't come on. Replaced that with this and it started working. Far more accurate as well. Looking forward to taking it into cold temps.

Perfect
I purchased a house in July. Now that it got cold and the heater was hooked up for the cold months, I noticed that the old Honeywell (horizontal) thermostat buttons didn't work very well (you had to push them really hard and sometimes they would get stuck so the temp would go up or down by itself because you had to push the buttons so hard - this must be common with age on these things because at the apartment I lived in before I bought my house, the same thing happened with that Honeywell thermostat, they replaced it and the new one lasted the 5 years I lived there without issue and was still doing great when I moved and that one was used for the heat and a/c). Anyhow, I wanted a vertical thermostat because that is what the home originally had, I also preferred to stick with Honeywell because that's the brand I am familiar with, and I wanted this particular style because it is just a simple straightforward thermostat, no bells and whistles that I didn't need or want (this one has heat on/off and up button to increase the heat, down button to decrease the heat, the screen shows the current temp at all times without the green backlight and when you push the buttons, the green backlight comes on for about 5-10 seconds and shuts off). The horizontal one that was installed looked horrible because they didnt fill the gaps above or below the thermostat. I purchased this one and it came fairly quick (about a week, I think) and it was rediculously easy to install (maybe 10 minutes and that is including patching the two screw holes they made to put the horizontal thermostat and painting the wall around the new one). There were only two wires for mine, so if you can match the white wire to the "w" and the black wire to the "b" on the back of the thermostat (and whatever other wires you have to the corresponding letter on the back of the thermostat), you should be good to go. It came with instructions, but I didn't even read them, it's one of those straight forward common sense things really. The heating and cooling place wanted to charge me $150 and when I told him that seemed a bit steep, he said he would do it for $90 to "help me out since I'm a single lady with no help". I bought this thermostat for $25 and helped myself out by saving $65 and I'm confident that as long as I don't push the buttons like the world is ending, then I should get at least 5 years of life out of it like I did with the one at my apartment, and probably much longer since this one is for heat only.

Good value
Good delivery and a good value for a no frills thermostat. This is a vertical style unit which fit our previous unit's outline. No touch up painting!

Unit temperature reading can be off by 2 to 4 degrees
The unit was easy to install. Works well in my RV. The only issue I have found is the actual temperature reading is off by 2 degrees. This was verified by a digital temperature and Humidity sensor and a Sling Psychrometer. It functions well and controls the temperature. Due to the actual temperature reading 2 degrees above the actual temperature. You may have to adjust your setting accordingly.

Easy to work with and reliable
It is easy to install, don't think you can make a mistake on it. Well known brand, quality is good. A bit on the expensive side. Was talking to my family works in heating and cooling industry, as soon as I mention Honeywell, he said was it pro1000, so installers and business owner likes it.

Great basic thermostat
It does exactly what I want it to do. Temp seems to be off by about 0.5C compared to three other thermometers used but I'm ok with that and I'm sure that I could enter an installer/system mode to tweak it. Unit starts displaying Fahrenheit but after a quick Internet search, I find out how to enter the mode to change it to Celsius.

Great RV upgrade
Upgrade for travel trailer. It should of been a priority upgrade. Set the temp and leave it unlike the old fashioned thermastat our trailer came with.
