Does this have a chain brake?

Yes there is a chain brake on the chain saw

Can this item cut down big trees?

Great saw for the money I have a few pieces of land with mature trees cuts very well

I bought this recently and only used it twice and now i cant get it to work . My grandson said he thinks its got something to do with the choke button

My model is 10inch blade but the choke is very delicate only a little bit of plastic.my partner opens the chainsaw up and puts it back on for me

Is this good working item?

I think it’s a great buy had a fallen tree in parents garden bought this to deal with it comes with 2 bars and 4 chains and the safety gear al for under £100. The safety hat was as cheap as it can get but the chainsaw itself was great assembled easily started first time and made short work of the tree would highly recommend
