No it’s plug and play plugs in where old bulbs are.

Do you peel off paper on one side of gasket?

My gasket didn't have paper on it . I wish it would have then it would have stuck to light. I put thin layer of clear silicone on mine.

I do not know. I purchased this for a 2011 Ford F150. It fit without issue
