I installed two of these in the kitchen and one in the laundry room. They're bright, they don't hum, and they have adjustable color (she likes the coolest the best)This light is easy to use, easy to install, and if you're even just a little bit handy, you can do it yourself.It comes with everything you're likely to need including one 1/2in knockout clamp for your wire into the ceiling/wall or a pigtail, wire nuts, and some screws and toggles to get it attached to your surface.I mounted two hardwired and one with a 3 wire plug pigtail and a external switch.There is a rectangular knockout (not noticeable if you don't use it) on the face for a switch or a two prong panel mount outlet (not included) if you have those, or want those.There are round knockouts on the wide and narrow mounting sides, as well as on each plastic end cap for wires. I used a drill to get through the plastic knockouts on the one that I used those on, I've never had good luck with just pushing a screwdriver through plastic ko's. There is not a lot of room in the light on the right side so if you need to put wire out the plastic end cap, you're probably best off using the left side if possible. I used both because of my mounting location in the laundry.Installation is extremely simple if you're replacing an existing fixture. I drilled my own knockout on one in the kitchen, but the other one lined up okay with the constraint I had with existing BX cabling. When mounting from underneath, this is a face-screwed fixture making it extremely easy to line up and adjust. I mounted all of mine into wood and used some large-face drywall screws to attach the one in the laundry for my convenience. The plastic lens peels off easily with just your fingers, all the screws are phillips head, the manufacturer didn't do anything unusual. The wire nuts included work fine for stranded and solid wire.

For me it just didn't have enough lumens.

If there’s one or more lights on the next ones do not come on because it’s no longer dark enoughI purchased for Christmas shelves, do not recommend. If you turn them on to stay on, battery only lasts a few hours

Nice light but lacks a power on off switch.

If these are self-tapping installation screws, they do not self-tap. Given several wiring knockouts but only can use two of them. Other routing interferes with install. wouldn't be my choice to install again.

Ability to change colors and intensity.

This energy efficient lighting gives the area over our kitchen sink new life. Having three color temperatures (soft, warm and neutral white) is a nice touch. When the day is done, we like keeping this on in soft—it adds ambience to the room, and practical night lighting for easy snack finding or comfortable guidance. We had no trouble installing this to existing wiring.

Build quality is excellent. Instructions are clear. Installation could not have been easier. Brightness is perfect.I got this to light a sander station that's buried inside of a dust collection zone, so it was very dark in there and difficult to work with. This lights the zone wonderfully. The light casing is all metal, complete with two grounding locations, one for each metal piece. All hardware included. The screws to attach the light to the underside of the cabinet are already held in place, making installation incredibly easy.
