I bought the symmetric controller. This is literally the only symmetric Xbox controller I've been able to find and as a long time playstation lover who recently switched to pc this is the best thing I've ever had. I wanted a cheap wired xbox controller because I've been having issues with wireless stuff recently. I've been switching from wireless to wired on everything. I was looking for a controller, preferably one actually licensed by xbox, when I remembered that my cousin has a PowerA wired controller. I tried it out and loved it so I looked for PowerA on Amazon and came across this and fell in love. The moment I got it I plugged it into my pc and now its the only controller I use. It's got the layout of the playstation controller that I love so much without the cramping and pain of the playstation controller. I highly recommend this controller for anyone who's a playstation fan wanting to go into Xbox or pc.

Great controller for the price. Peripherals for consoles have gotten ridiculous in the last few years and it looks like the trend is only going to continue. These controllers are a step up from the original Power a versions that they had on the site. This one won't break the first time you drop it.

This controller is tried and true. I've been using it for 4 months on a windows 11 PC to play games on steam and it's still holding up great. I actually recently bought a much more expensive wireless "pro" controller that I thought would replace this but I had all kinds of issues with that "pro" controller. This has all you need without the bells and whistles which is perfect for my gaming style. I'll be buying another one once I wear out this one.

Audio port is surprisingly fragile when if the controller falls on the cord to a headset. It’s still usable but only for games that doesn’t require a headset.

I bought this game controller to do some gaming on my Windows 11 laptop (A Thinkpad Yoga 11e). It would populate as an "Xbox Gaming Device" in device manager, but would not be recognized as an actual game controller. I followed the support info to try to force Windows to use other Xbox controller drivers, but none worked.The controller DID, however, work fine with my Ubuntu Linux desktop. It was only on Windows 11 that it seemed to fail -- I tried several other Windows computers, and none of them recognized it as a valid controller.I contacted PowerA support, and they suggested a firmware replacement, but the software they sent me said it could not find the controller. After that failure, they thought perhaps its firmware was incorrectly flashed at the factory, and suggested I replace the device from the seller (Amazon). I asked PowerA how I could be confident that a replacement device will have good firmware, and they said they don't control the Amazon sales, and suggested a different seller (!).I do not believe that PowerA properly understands their own products, nor are they able to stand behind their product. I will be buying a more expensive alternative from a better company in the future, in hopes that I am more likely to get a working device and helpful support.

Pretty good controller, still doing me well. I like that it is corded so no battery life and that it disconnects. I assume to not bend the cord when storing. I don’t take it off when storing it as it’s a little difficult too, and I don’t want to put strain on the cord constantly doing that.

Quality Is Top Tier.Price Is Perfect They Should Charge More Honestly The Controller Way To Perfect For The Price.

I had difficulty originally setting up the controller’s drivers with the PC, but I found a post that Windows 11 will register it automatically if you plug in another controller before plugging this one in. After that, you can turn it on in separate boots by holding the central Xbox button until it lights up. (This hadn’t worked the first time for me, but after doing the 2 controller trick, it’s worked consistently afterwards) The buttons work, and I haven’t noticed any issues since setting it up.
