The item description from Tempur-Pedic says it is filled with "micro cushions". Sounds more like a lot of pieces of memory(?) foam to me.

Is this shredded memory foam or one piece?

No, these pillows are a thin envelope filled with memory foam chunks. I have two and the liner has torn on one. This is not a guess...these pillows are certainly not made from a single chunk of temperpedic foam.

Reviews suggest that the core of this could be 1 solid piece of memory foam, two pieces of memory foam, or many smaller pieces of memory foam. Which?

What is the size of its pillowcase? Thank you!

I’m not sure but I bought a zippered body pillow pillowcase at Target and it works!
