What kind of adhesive should be used to attach this piece to wood furniture?

Just use a good construction adhesive like a gel style which is thicker from a tube applicator and not the spray kind. I think I used something called gripit adhesive which dried clear Incase some glue squeezes out when you press down the molding. I would not use regular superglue because it is to thin in my opinion. I would use a gel or even better a paste like construction adhesive that dries clear.

Which would be the matching moulding to this please??

Thank you for your interest in our products! The Oxford straight panel moulding would be matching profile for this center. You can find this moulding by searching for B004LRZJ7W in the search bar. Best of luck on your project!
