Perfect for chilling Whiskey without watering it down!

I put 5 in a glass of whisky and while it did cool a bit but not as well as ice. They are as described and look good. I’m no sure they are solid and they do seem a bit light. If you are trying to reduce the temp 10-15 degrees use ice, if you want to drop it 7-9 these might work especially if you don’t want to keep it full strength.

Keeps cold drinks cold but doesn't cool down hot drinks.It was not advertised as such, but, I was hoping to use this with my iced coffee maker. Being tired of watered it down iced coffee from the ice melting I thought this would be the perfect solution. Unfortunately it was not. For other drinks it seems fine though.I have washed in the dishwasher on the top shelf in a basket and seems to clean up just fine.

I enjoy having a cocktail or 2 most evenings. My daily drink of choice is Evan Williams bourbon with a packet of True Lemon (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B003YP3MUS/) in my Rtic tumbler with a can of ginger ale. If I didn’t drink it quickly enough the ice would melt, diluting my drink.Now I use 8 whiskey stones instead of the ice and my cocktail is always cold and never diluted.I’ve taken this one step further. I keep 2 Rtic tumblers in the freezer with 8 whiskey stones so I’m always ready. When I’m done with a drink I just put the tumbler back in the freezer and I’m good to go!🥃🧊

I wanted something other than the plastic liquid filled reusable ice cubes. These stainless ones seem safer since we are learning more about plastics every day. They come in two nice trays and also have ice tongs included. This is a big upsell rather than having to throw them in a Ziploc bag like the cheaper plastic models. The box is also nicely designed so this company didn't go cheap on what you get.Some have said these don't work, but they didn't provide anything other than a 1 star review. I decided to put them to the test. For the experiment I took a Renpho kitchen scale and a Lavatools Javelin Pro that I also got on Amazon. I measured 35ml of whiskey and tested the temperature at 68.1 F. I placed 2 cubes in the liquid. Only one was fully submerged. I managed to get half the other one under the liquid due to the narrow Duralex tumbler that I also got on Amazon. After 5 minutes I retested the temperature which came out to 38.1 F. A 30 degree temperature drop in 5 minutes. That seems to work as good as real ice without watering down the drink.These cubes do work, they're stainless steel, and they're relatively inexpensive. For what you are paying for you can't go wrong with them.
