CAPHAUS 5 Tier Ladder Bookshelf

Before and after photos dont quit do this product justice. The shelf is great and fits in the small space in my office I needed it to. Fills the wall nicely with the grey finish I got. Other color options are available to suit your style and design needs. It was extremely easy to put together, I did have to switch two of the bottom legs around a couple times since I couldnt find the number the first time. Directions were easy to follow. A few extra parts were provided in case you drop and lose one or two. Great modern look and holds all the things I needed it to and then some. No worries about how much weight I am putting on it either, very sturdy shelf and it doesn't move at all with the security wall strap. Keeps any little ones from getting hurt if they climb it. Great product - purchased for office but has many different room options. Highly recommended.

Happy with this shelving unit. It was the only one I could find that fit the shelf height requirement I needed without being 3ft long or longer. Instructions were mostly visual, and while I think there could be a better way to put it together I followed the instructions as much as I thought necessary. All in all it took me maybe 30minutes to put together. Also, you’ll need a Phillips head screw driver to attach the back of the shelves to the bottom of the shelves (it’s not included). Everything seemed well packaged and despite the box having some damage, the unit was fine. It was nice that the manufacturer included an extra screw for each screw type, and a mount to mount the unit to the wall. Overall the shelf seems sturdy, but definitely better to put heavier items on the bottom to keep it grounded.

Overall, the product itself was worth the purchase & fit the need. Quality was there, easy to assemble & looks great. While the review of the product is positive, if there was a separate review for the seller it would be lower. The box was missing hardware, a honest mistake where in many cases stuff like this come with an extra 1 or 2 screws generally. This however was short hardware & I could not install the top shelf. Contacted seller & got no rely which is where I am dissatisfied. I had considered purchasing another & now I have reservations

Sturdy and looks nice

I am a total plant lover and needed more space for my plant collection. I chose the Caphaus ladder shelf because I didn't have a lot of room for it to stick out. The ladder design fits perfectly and isn't in the way at all. I also chose this shelf because it was the only one I could find with a decent amount of space between each shelf! Kind of important for plants. Most others I looked at only had 11 inches. This one has 14 inches - giving them a little more room for height. I have found that lower growing, vining plants fit better (as opposed to tall like a snake plant), but I am still very happy to have the full 14 inch space. I installed some awesome plant lights with super sticky double sided tape and I love it! I think it looks great and the cost was reasonable, even with the few bucks for shipping. It was easy to put together and will hold at least 8 plants. I like the blend of metal and wood and also like the wood shelves are laminate - water drips won't do damage and wipe up easily! I am happy and I think this is a great shelf for other plant lovers :)
