60 Pcs Langstroth Bee Foundation Sheets Deep, 9" Bee Frames Foundation Wax Sheets, Deep Bee Wax Foundation for Bee Frames (16 1/3 Inch X 8 1/2 Inch)

These are good quality, well packages wax sheets for setting up new boxes. I used these to first replace a set of frames (knocking out the bad foundations from last season and slotting these into my wood frames) that had spoiled since last season with one of the new boxes that ended up losing it's hive over last winter. They fit right in and the bees were able to get started sooner than leaving open frames. They didn't seem to have any issues with working the wax.Also I was able to cut these in half and use them in my supers when I swap them out for extracting honey. They all worked well and I should be covered for a couple years easily as long as I care for how I store the sheets until I need them. At just over 1$ a sheet these were worth it to me for sure and I was pleased with the quality of what I got for that price.

These sheets have a very high percentage of cheap paraffin. They are very crumbly and truly very little beeswax in them plus they have some sort of yellow coloring added to them. We have bees, (second generation) but for rolling candles for fun events we use foundation sheets. These are sadly a lower quality then we have ever used in the past thirty years we have been doing this.

Does not have wire imbedded in the wax. Had to drill holes in frames, weave wire through and melt the wax to the wire. Which left burn holes. Eventually used another sheet to drip wax onto the wire, essentially tacking it like a weld.
