Very sturdy, seems high quality. No problem ramping to max charge for my EV in n a 50 amp circuit.

My only complaint is that it took a lot of patience to disconnect the adapter from my portable charger.Built to last

I bought this to charge my EV at a RV site while on a road trip if I run into problem finding a charging station. So, obviously I’m not going to use this anytime soon (if at all ever?). Product looks sturdy and well built but I’m unsure if it is really a good product or a Chinese knockout. The product came with an instruction tag that causes me this concern. It says, “Please Read BOTH SIDES Carefully and Follow All Directions”. Guess what? One side the instructions are in English and the other side in another language (looks French?). Really? Read BOTH SIDES? There’s no UL listing. The very first instruction on the label says “A cord Set Not Marked For Outdoor Use Is To Be Used Indoors Only. See Label For Outdoor Marking”. There’s not such marking. So, is this for Indoors Only? On the Amazon product description, under “[Why choose us]” it says “Passed UL certification. I didn’t see any UL mark on the cable. Why? Under “Included accessories” it said “Towel (for cleaning cables), strap and storage bag for M1A2.” I didn’t get a strap (not that I care for it so long as the product did its job). So, my main questions are, can I use it outdoors? and is it really approved by the UL?

Rav4Prime recent delivery. So excited that my 20 year old home had a separate 250 V garage outlet. Very disappointed when the Emporia charger arrived with the 14-50 plug and that the outlet was a 6-50, from 20 yrs ago. This adapter put a big smile on my face! No outrageous electrician bills! I already had a 50 amp breaker on the line! Install note: The adapter is very inflexible so measure the charger AC cord + adapter cord length, carefully before locating your charger. Bending its plug to a 180 curve, puts much strain on the wall outlet. Best to reinstall your existing 6-50 upside down. Then its a straight connection.

Came with excess packaging that wasn't needed.Most dryers only output 20A so you need to adjust car to not consume too much power.
