Draper 24912 Steel Workbench, Blue

Arrived with some damage to chipboard top. However, I agreed & received a refund of £18 to cover this. Workbench is of good quality and was very quick and easy to assemble, although I think they could have increased the guage of the steel by a millimetre or so to decrease the flexing of the legs when fully screewed & secured to the brick wall. Overall, very pleased with it.

Good stable bench with storage below. The frame is easy to assemble and probably just as easy to take apart if needed. Just need a hammer or a rubber mallet (recommended) to assemble the frame and the shelves just slot into place. Comes in one box which is a bit heavy for one person but if needed the shelves can be taken out of the box when it arrives and moved one at a time.Now obviously this looks a lot like something for a workshop but I have found another use for it. Got so many gadgets in my kitchen (induction hobs, halogen cooker etc.) which this bench will hold easily and at considerably lower cost than adding an additional worktop.

Easy to assmble and suprisingly sturdy and at this price this represented a great bargain when comparing it to similar/identical units from other manufacturers/suppliers. Be warned that the chipboard shelves could warp if they were allowed to get wet but I have varnished mine with Yacht varnish in case of spillages, etc.
