Given the price, I wasn't certain how solid a purchase this would be. I was very pleased with both the quality and ease of installation. While there were no installation instructions with the product, they are available in the product description on Amazon. It's pretty much measure, cut, install. It was so easy I ended up doing 2 more vents. One sheet (it comes with 2) handled all four rectangle vents. You simply removed the louvers place the cut screen piece into place, and put the louvers back on. I should note these were used on "non-laundry vents," and only fan exhaust vents. We will see how sturdy they screen is and if it really protects the vent entrance/exit.

This item worked PERFECTLY. I had a new termination (gas fireplace vent) installed outside. We used this product over the existing screen as a reinforcement. It's very flexible. We were able to cut it with scissors. To fit the areas required. Also, it has enough areas provided for flow. But will not allow birds access.

The screens --2 were included in the package-- were ample size and strength. I cut one with a heavy wire cutter tool and kept trimming it down to fit inside the round inside opening of the vent cover. Then, I cemented the screen in place with a silicone cement. I took care that the screen did not interfere with the fit of the cover or the motion of the flexible louvers. Waited 24 hours and put it back on with binder clamps. Seems just fine. I doubt the mice will get in now.

The product is of sufficient quality and strength to hold shape and keep out unwanted pests on the dryer vent. The edges of the squares are unfortunately sharp and took some skill to size to my specific need but once mounted and folded over in covers, provided an excellent cover for the vent allowing the flap to move freely and hot air to exit the vent. Will see how effective it is at capturing lint and possibly clogging the output over time. For now, its a very good solution to my problem.

Not a great product if you want to use it for a dryer vent. It collected too much lent and became a hazard. Difficult to cut to size

Very nice product. Seemed like a very expensive metal and design. The design is actually astetically pleasing. However, I was not able to use as I had planned. Keep in mind this product was designed for something different. I wanted to cover my air conditioning ducts that are mounted on my floors because things kept falling in the ducts. These did not cover the length of the duct. These would have been perfect if they were a different size. I did not have a tool to cut this product. If I did, I would have done so.
