Great Gift! Beautiful Story! Great Price!
Great story and fun for the kids. It arrived quickly and brand new. The colors are vibrant and it makes a great story to read aloud. My 14 y.o still loves it! Makes a great gift!

Great book
This was read by James Earl Jones on Reading Rainbow in the 1980’s. I’ve wanted a copy since then. Bought the hard back for my daughters. I don’t read it in Jones’ voice very well, but, come on, it’s James Earl Jones. It’s a great book with great artwork! Get it! Read it to your kids!

Nostalgia
I remembered this book from my childhood and wanted to read it to my child. I first saw it on Reading Rainbow! It's such a great folk tale and easy to read for my 7 year old.

Ok, I'll read it again (for the, I swear, the 300th time) Theresa.
This was the first book my daughter, Theresa, asked me to buy for her! I heard her pleading for the book over a week. B&N, Crown, and Borders were out (this was pre-Amazon), so I went to the expensive store and found it. I read it to her that night, three times, and she kept requesting it every single night for about four months, she was three, and I was tired. I told her that I wanted to read her something new and she consented. For about the next month or two, I mixed it up, she had books to fill two shelves. But after she listened to the 'new' book, she would get "Bringing the rain..." and I would find it on her quilt the next morning. A very funny thing started to happen, my books started showing up on her quilt. She told me that she liked my books but my copy of "Canterbury Tales" was weird and she had trouble reading the words. When I asked her what she was talking about, she again answered "I couldn't read the words, they looked weird. Long story short, she had memorized all the words in her book and used those to teach herself to read other books. One of the things I'm most proud of her is, her great love/need to read. I owe my great love of reading to my parents, so glad to pass it on. By the way, she couldn't make out the words in "Canterbury Tales" The reason was because it was written and printed in Old English.

Sensível e empolgante
Deixar a música que vem do app tocando ao fundo enquanto se lê a história cheia de ensinamentos é uma experiência única. Os seus pequenos vão vibrar.

Another beautiful book
I first came across this book at a book fair in Kuala Lumpur in 1997 and I think my little son and I must have read it every day for a couple of years. We have never forgotten "Kipat who stands on one leg like the big stork bird"... Have bought many copies for friends' children since.

Learn about an African folk tale through repetition. A good book for young readers
Excellent book for children in African countries. Why? The book is repetitive lie "Old Macdonald's Farm," This book also is being sent to an orphan school in Entebbe Uganda, where the children have to learn English beginning in K.G. at age 5. this book would be suitable for young English speaking children too who are just learning to read.
