10AWG Solar to SAE Adapter Charge Cable, 50Cm Solar Connector to SAE Connector for Solar Panels to Charge Controller with SAE Polarity Reverse Adapter

I took 6 pictures so people could see what these MC4 to SAE converter cables look like, including some close-ups of the printing on the cables which show that they are 10AWG. Even the red cable has printing on it, although it is a bit harder to read since white printing doesn't contrast on red as well as it does on black. This is a nice quality 10AWG cable with MC4 connectors on one end and a SAE connector on the other end. The construction is good and the wire is fairly supple/flexible like you would expect from a quality cable intended for hobby use rather than the stiffer cables you tend to find for outdoor solar panels. I'm going to be using this with my 10A Bateria Solar Charge Controller, which has built-in SAE input and output cables since most of the larger solar panels I have use MC4 outputs or have a converter for MC4 connectors. In fact, I've only seen SAE outputs on fairly small (10-30W) rigid solar panels, so if you have a Solar Charge Controller that uses an attached SAE input cable, this adapter is perfect for you, just be sure to check the positive and negative polarity with a multimeter before you finish connecting this, since solar panels are not entirely consistent about which of their MC4 outputs is positive. The included SAE polarity switcher/reverser is a very nice inclusion, since as I just mentioned solar panels are not entirely consistent about which of their MC4 outputs is positive.

This adapter cable worked perfectly on a small home project solar setup. It’s well-made, and the connectors work perfectly. The wire gauge is correct, and the seller claims it’s IP67 waterproof, which is perfect for my project.
