Best earplugs I've tried - by far
I ride a motorcycle to work and for fun, and wanted to go on longer rides, but the wind noise, even with earplugs, is very fatiguing after a long, high-speed ride. These are AMAZING. I'm not going to incriminate myself, but suffice to say at high speeds, wind noise was massively, massively reduced. Super comfortable, expanded more slowly but much more firmly than any other brand I've tried (and I've tried a LOT).Just ordered 4 more. Hope they continue to make these, they are by far the best I've tried in my life.

They are great for snoring and shooting.
Great for target practice and for you if your spouse snores.

Can Still Hear Snoring
They are not perfect as I can still hear my husband snore. Also they dry out my ear canal so I have itchy ears in the morning.

Soft and comfortable
I use these when I am vacuuming in the house, or using power tools in the garage, or mowing the lawn. I typically only use them for short periods (usually no more than an hour) and find them to be comfortable and effective. Of course they don't totally block all of the noise, but they reduce the level to the point that it is tolerable and (I believe) not damaging my hearing. As with all foam earplugs, the trick is to roll them tightly before inserting them, open up the ear canal by pulling upward (gently) on the ear before inserting them, and then being patient while they fully expand. I find these to have a good expansion rate - not so fast that you can't get them properly inserted before they start expanding, and not so slow that your hearing fails from aging before they're done.I sometimes find that after they have expanded, if I twist them slightly, I can improve the seal, which improves their noise reduction. In fact, I sometimes use that trick in reverse. If I am using them in a movie theater - I find most theaters to now be uncomfortably loud - I can intentionally loosen the seal a bit if I find that full insertion makes them too effective.Since they are not individually wrapped in pairs, the inclusion of the little plastic carrying case is a nice bonus to help prevent the plugs from getting dirty if I am taking them with me somewhere.Instructions are printed on a little card included in the package, on the cardboard box, and on the container. The inclusion of the one pair of silicone earplugs with the retention cord is a nice bonus.

Fit for a kid?
These were so small, it was like having absolutely nothing in my ears. No noise cancellation with the fit obviously. I think I can save them by compressing two and inserting them both in one ear. I'll give it a try. If that doesnt work, in the trash they go. Huge disappointment. I cant sleep without them and sleep is hit-n-miss with them. Chronic insomnia sufferer.

Good for noise cancelling and a good price
These do work pretty good for noise reduction. Boyfriend uses for sleep to drown out the sounds of noisy pets and anything else in the middle of the night. They work pretty good other than sometimes they fall out when he rolls over. But they are a good value for the amount that you get.

Party must, especially when mixed ages
We attended a wedding, the dancing and music taking place in a hall that was small and loud. It was there that we first saw a bowl of earplugs provided for the guest and we thought it was brilliant. So when we recently had occasion to host our own event, we ordered these for our guests, and for me.I will say that I don't mind looking a bit silly and that I'd rather look silly than risk more damage to my hearing from very loud music. It seems to me that the earplugs were more likely to be worn by the adults, than by those in their teens and twenties who were singing and shouting along with the music.I did have to pop out the earplugs to hear people talking, in the music hall, but was able to dance more comfortably with these earplugs in.
