This is the third chair like this that I have purchased. I have a special needs adult daughter who is very large, and she jumps up and down in her desk chair when she watches Disney videos online. She has broken numerous plus sized office chairs over the years, and I purchased one of these nearly 3 years ago because I was tired of constantly buying new chairs for her. She is still using that original chair, it's holding up great. My mother is a senior citizen who is also larger, and she lives with us, and she has a hard time with chairs that are too high, too short, too soft, etc. due to a hip replacement 10 years ago. So I purchased the second one of these for her to use at our dining table. She loves it, and she uses it to do her "chair exercises" in too. I decided to downsize our dining room table since we really don't eat in there much, we use it for other things now, so I got a little table and this 3rd blue chair to match the one that my mom uses in there. It's the same quality as the first two, and I love it. It is really comfortable -you can sit in it and feel supported for hours, and because it has no arms and a straight back, it "fits" everyone. Skinny people don't feel like they are sitting in a giant's chair, short people don't feel like little kids with their feet swinging over the ground. Taller people don't feel cramped. It's just perfect. And it comes completely assembled right out of the box- I love that especially.

I don't know about if you're 1000 lbs but if you're 260 lb like me it's great, got charcoal grey and it is exactly as pictured, it's moderately comfortable and feels sturdy early on at least. Best chair I've been able to find on Amazon that doesn't break the bank or have poor build quality.

This chair came already assembled and so far everything seems to be doing well. I've only had it for a little bit, but it's super sturdy, which is what I've been looking for as a heavy set person. The cushioned seating is ok but you definitely feel it sink down after a short period of time. A pillow or blanket on the seat might help others remedy this situation.You might need to buy a protective cover for this chair, especially if you own a cat. My cat is obsessed with this chair and keeps trying to scratch the thing up when I'm not using it.

I have two of these chairs and plan to buy more. I was looking for something sturdy to stand the test of time. I use one in my office and one at my kitchen table for crafting. The cushioned seat helps me stay comfortable when I'm seated for a while. So many chairs these days break because of poor craftmanship and materials so I opted for something made of metal. These are not a disappointment.

Seat padding needs a little more firm but it did come already assembled which is a plus

The major selling point for me was that I did not have to put it together. The chair is 21 inches wide and that also is a major plus along with the weight it can handle. The chair is very well made and I plan to order another one but without the book rack underneath. I use this chair in my kitchen area so that I can sit down while the food is cooking. Overall an excellent buy.
