Samba Sports Football Goal - Multigoal plastic corners 16' x 7' - LOCKING (1 Goal)

We've had a few Samba goals over the years and this is an upgrade to the 8' x 4' goal previously used in the garden.Although the 8' x 4' goal is still in good condition (after 5-6 years) my son wanted a bigger goal for his 18th birthday - as he is working towards being a professional footballer it makes sense to have a goal this size as it is what he will be shooting at in proper matches.The Samba goals haven't let us down and although the previous one suffered a broken back brace from a particularly ferocious shot a few years ago it was easy to fix up with a piece of drainage pipe.Putting this larger goal together took approx. 40 minutes and the net is fixed to be very tight as you can see from the pictures in this review.There are more net clips than is necessary to fix the net so it is good to have a few spares.If you have a decent size garden and you are looking for a good quality goal then I'd recommend this one no problem.I gave it 5* for 'Easy to assemble', 4* for 'Sturdiness' (it is simply plastic pipes which could be broken by really hard shots) and 4* for 'Value for money' since there isn't a nation of materials here.However, considering what the other options are for garden goals I'd still rate the Samba goals over the competition as all the Samba goals we've had from age 4 to 18 have lasted well and take plenty of abuse.
