Very Happy With My Choice
Recently, I decided to purchase a T square. I did alot of searching and watching Youtube videos to make my choice (both brand and length). I liked the features on this one, especially the addition of the tabs on the cross piece to keep it flat on the work surface. I read some reviews that said that these were not accurate as well as complaints that the buyer's pencils wouldn't fit the holes (why would you consider buying what should be a precision instrument and not using a mechanical pencil?) In any case, I decided to purchase a 12inch one and if it didn't work out,, it's Amazon....I could easily return it. Well, that concern was not necessary. I'm extremely pleased with my purchase. I attached the screws loosely and using a known square, adjusted the crosspiece and tightened it up. Perfect. What good is a square if it's not going to be square? The look and feel of this square is also superb (especially for the price). I liked it so much, the next week, I ordered the 24 inch version and that too was accurate and well made. If you're in the market for a T square and want something better than a 14 dollar big box store square, I highly recommend these.

Good quality, and works well!
I got this to help me map out all the cuts I was going to do on a sheet of plywood. It works as intended and is good quality, and I was able to mark very straight lines with it. It came with the cross piece separate and you have to bolt it in place with the 4 bolts it comes with. I was concerned that this might cause it to not be square, but those concerns were quelled after all the bolts were in place because it was perfectly square. I did have a little bit of trouble with the scribing holes being so small that I had to use a mechanical pencil. I used .7mm less, and it broke frequently during use. I will try mechanical pencils with thicker lead for my next project. All around I’d say this was a great product and I will be using it a lot in future projects!

I'm very impressed
I was skeptical buying this square from anyone except the big red headed tool company but figured nothing ventured, nothing gained, and the price differential is beyond substantial. The fit and finish on this tool is perfect and accuracy against other good squares I have is right on the money, though I bought this primarily for scribing lines while woodworking. The finger holes and fence on the head are nice touches that make using this square for drawing straight lines at prescribed distances very easy and accurate. I recommend using a .9mm mechanical pencil with HB graphite for durability and bold markings.

Check them before it's to late to send them back!
Looks real pretty! But that's it I purchase three of them one eight inch , 24" and a 300mm Not one of them is square! should have checked them when I first purchased them! No good to me so I scraped them and purchased a couple of woodpecker squares.

Ok, but not great
Overall the square is just ok. 1. The packaging was adequate and assembly was easy. I didn’t have the bow or bend some recent reviews mentioned. 2. After assembly it was actually square on both sides. 3. Like others have mentioned I do wish the “T” base was wider. It is very easy for the base to cant away from the material while moving and throw off your line a bit. 4. The coating on the T-square is very reflective. In a well lit shop or a shop with focused lighting it can wash out the numbers on the scale and make them difficult to read. You can see the effect in one of the photos. 5. The etching on the scales isn’t very defined. Many of the numbers on the fractions blend together with the line. They are still legible but it can take a bit of extra effort at times. You can see them in one of the photos. 6. I didn’t have the problem with the holes being too small like others. I tried them with 4 writing utensils pictured. The woodworking mechanical pencil and semi-sharp regular #2 pencil worked great. In fact there was even a little slop. The dull #2 and the BIC pen did not fit. As long as you keep your pencils sharp you’ll be fine. 7. The holes don’t line up with the outer scales perfectly. You can see in the photos how they are just a hair off. Some of this is due to the slop when your writing utensil is smaller than the hole like I mentioned. I tried multiple orientations of where to put the utensil in the hole and it seemed pushing it to the top away from the t base made it the most accurate but not perfect. Again, it’s just ok overall. It might be good enough for most hobbyists but it’s nowhere near the quality of the tool it mimics. Still debating on returning. I got it on sale, but there is no way I would be keeping it if I paid normal full price.

Almost as good as Woodpecker, wow way less in price, has the "hip" so t does not flip!
I never realized how much I needed an accurate 2' t-square that had the hip on the handle so it would snug perpendicular. spending more that 50bucks for only occasional use caused me to hesitate, but spending almost 200 for a woodpecker I was not going to do. I am glad I bought this ruler. CONS, the included allen wrench was the wrong size, it was about 0.5mm larger than the screw. OOPS in packaging by mfr. Easily remedy to use my own allen wrench.
