No matter how you tighten this it’ll go out of alignment at a first bump on your quiet ride across the park. After just a couple of months of struggling to make this work, this thing literally broke off and flew off of my handlebar. I only ride in the city too. Can’t trust this brand

After using this mirror for a couple of months now, I would not recommend it for anyone who doesn't always ride on a smooth paved surface. I commute to work on my bike and with every little bump I ride over, the mirror shifts, and I have to readjust its position. I cannot tighten the screw any tighter to hold it in place. The plastic ball socket holding the mirror just expands so that a snug and secure fit is impossible. Another annoyance it that the mirror vibrates too much creating a blurry image.

I've tried out a few different bicycle mirrors trying to find just the right one. Most are too small, or don't extend far enough out, or aren't adjustable enough.Not this one. This one checks all the boxes. It's crystal clear, doesn't get dirty very easily, extends out to just the right position, and adjusts in all the right ways.If you need a good bike mirror, buy it. I love it.

I love this mirror for my bike! I have had trouble losing my balance a bit as I turn my head back to look for cars behind me. It would always make me wobble. Now with this mirror, I don't have to turn my head! The installation requires a set of standard Allen wrenches. It was fairly easy. I just had a little trouble with the plastic spacer not staying in place. As for the mirror itself, I like the anti-glare blue color of the mirror. And I've had no problems with it coming loose so far. With this mirror, I feel safer when I ride.

I got this for my GF's new Schwinn hybrid. At first I mounted it inside the shift/brake mechanism, which was mounted tight up against the grip, but the stalk is not long enough to extend past the end of the grip and all I could see in the mirror was my arm. I then moved the shift over just enough to slip the mirror into place next to the grip and now it's perfect. GF says it's still easy enough to reach the brake and gear levers, so no problem.The mirror surface is good quality, the hardware fits smoothly into place, and I was impressed by the little feature of the rubber gasket having raised dots (like a Lego piece) that fit into holes on the metal bracket so that it's held captive. I've had other gaskets that are not captive work themselves out and fall off, making the brackets come loose while riding, so I appreciate this thoughtful design.The mirror vibrates a little but not enough to undermine its usefulness. I was careful not to over-tighten the screw that tensions the adjusting ball since someone else mentioned it was a bit fragile. If the the ball were metal instead of plastic, and if the stalk were a little longer/adjustable, I'd give this 5 stars.

Mirror came in cellophane wrapper which put me on alert but just lifting it, I could tell it was not cheaply made. I ride a regular bike and needed a mirror on the left and this one worked just fine. It is so easy to put on. Assembly requires a 5mm Allen wrench which was not included. I have a jar I put all the free allen wrenches that come with products I buy so this was no problem. Very standard tool to find. There is just one screw that you screw out enough to open the part that wraps around the handle bar....snap this on.....screw the screw back in and tighten until snug. The mirror has a large surface which moves around to adjusts for view. The bar from the handle to the mirror does not move which will help me as other bikes park next to mine and I won't be coming out having to twist a mirror arm back in place. The mirror itself is large over 3-1/2" diameter made of "Automotive Grade Glass Blast-Resistance Anti-glare Blue Glass". It has been great for cars coming up behind me at night. Things that bothered me a little have nothing to do with the mirror...they might be more about me, but here goes. The cellophane package was a bad first impression. Manufacturers include allen wrenches with their products all the time but there was not one included. If you are putting a mirror on a bike you likely have a 5mm allen wrench...but if you don't it could stall the assembly. The title is junky with words strung together for search engines not shoppers. Took a second glance at the heading to get that the mirror would work on anything but a E-bike. Specifying measurements in inches as well as millimeters saves U.S. customers a google search.....yes, I'm petty but I don't let it get in the way of a good product.
