Neat little unit.
I bought this monitor for my peace of mind as the problem I have with my heart has often stopped before reaching A&E. At least I have a recording of what has occurred. However, I cannot download the data to my computer as it is an Apple Mac. There was no indication on the original literature that it was only for Micro-soft. I also find that when the SD card is in, it will not record the data on the monitor or card. When I emailed the company who supplied it, they were not very helpful.

Malicious software
This item was bought to enable patients of our surgery to have in their home. When we tried to download software our IT department had to abort it as the soft ware was malicious.

Fantastic, been really useful at work as a GP, I just wished the grammar of the greeting message was correct. Have accurately picked up 3 new atrial fibrillations using this that have been confirmed with a 12 lead ecg.

Limitations of ecg monitor
Device works OK but it doesn't have the software to easily download the heart traces onto a computer/pic. Purpose of purchasing device was to allow my electrocardiologist to see the traces which I take at home on his computer at his clinic. This doesn't appear to be possible so I have to take the device to him--- along journey to London --where he can read the device itself.

Does what it supposed to in a very easy and quick way so can't grumble apart from the price but if you think you need one I'm sure like me you will pay the price :)

This product is not compatible with windows 7Because OS change so quickly, items yoy purchase become obsolete so quickly because the software cannot be updated in line with operating systems.Great item, very simple to use ... but the software needs to keep pace with computer OS. This also applies ot many other items available.
