I purchased this a couple of years ago and finally got around to using it. I use it to pull water from a tank I keep in the garage. The pressure is equal to or maybe a little higher than the pressure from the house. The auto shut off feature is flawless. Pull the trigger on your hose sprayer and the pump starts in about half a second. Release the trigger and the pump shuts off immediately.

Someone has asked me about the noise level. I do find both this pump and the 12 v dc version to be rather noisy when in operation. (I have one of each.) They make a rather loud 'vibrating' type of sound. One thing I have done to help quiet them is to mount them on something soft, between the base of the pump(s) and the hard mounting surface. This helps quite a bit. If you can put it someplace where it won't get overly hot, like in a cabinet or some such other enclosure, preferably with air circulation for motor cooling, this helps a lot too. One thing to keep in mind is that these are 'diaphragm pumps' and in the years that I have been around this type of pump, I have found all of them to be 'noisy' when running compared to something with a spinning impeller. That just seems to be a charactereistic of a diaphragm pump. As far as workability, they work great.

I was pleasantly surprised that we got better pressure to the house than we got off of the municipal water line. We used it for a few months until we got our well drilled. They held up very well and are on standby in case we need them again

Great little pump. Our well gave out so without spending upwards to ten thousand to get it replaced, we got an ibc tote set up and connected it to our house. However, a couple of months of use it gave out. PLEASE, this pump needs a weather protector/box. Don’t make the same mistake we did.

Works as it should and pumps water very well. Has good water pressure and I have three 100 foot hoses connected together. I have it hooked up to a remote connection so I can turn the pump on and off without having to unplug it. I was surprised that it will run a while without water pumping through it as I thought it turned it off on my phone. Only to find out when I put the phone back in my pocket I must have accidentally turned it back on. Of course the hand held sprayer was shut off and I had laid it down. When I got back to the water tank to shut off the valve I found the pump was running. I didn’t know it was still running because it is very quiet. Would recommend this item and would buy it again.

I would avoid this pump if you have to move more than a few gallons of water. I bought it to help drain about a hundred gallons of water from a koi pond periodically. I noticed that the pump gets very warm if it operates for more than about 20 minutes. So evidently, the pump heat caused a catastrophic failure. The unit had a melt down after about six or seven uses and now it's garbage.

The installation process of the automatic diaphragm pump is very simple, and even beginners can complete it easily. The pump body is made of excellent material with strong corrosion resistance, making it suitable for long-term use. The automatic start and stop function not only saves energy but also reduces equipment wear and tear. The overall design is user-friendly, and the installation and maintenance are simple. It is very suitable for families with insufficient water pressure or high water demand.

Using for 5 gallon buckets of cleaning solution (dishwasher soap, laundry detergent, fabric softener, etc..) works awesome and fast, used to pump water from kitchen to garage once, did not disappoint..

Bought this pump for an off grid camp, and was not disappointed. Runs off the generator with no issues. Fittings supplied were exact. I originally used garden hose but then used pvc pipe to run from the pump to the camp due to the auto shut off. It keeps the pressure in the pipe causing it to swell and split. That itself tells you how much pressure this pump creates. I still use a section of garden hose from the rain barrel to the pump with no issues. Very happy with the purchase and would highly recommend.
