Trish McEvoy Easy Lip Color, 0.12 oz. / 3.5 g

For someone who has a propensity of wearing lipstick off within minutes of application, this lipstick works like a charm. It was still on 4 hours later. The color was still vibrant too. I love this shade of red. I’m fair with dark red hair which makes it hard to find a red lipstick that doesn’t clash and make me look like a clown. This color is sexy!

I just ordered this lipstick in Knockout (Vermillion) on a whim and it's the best $30 I've spent on makeup in quite some time... Trish McEvoy, never - and I mean NEVER! - discontinue this lipstick formula and/or shade!! It's the absolute perfect shade for my red-loving heart! Neutral to warm, easy to apply, long-lasting, not sheer, not matte, not too shiny, doesn't creep into my nasty little lip lines... It reminds me of a Borghese red lipstick I had 25+ years ago that became my gold standard and in all the years of searching since, I can't remember finding another that captured everything I loved about that one... I'm about to order a couple more, just to be sure I've always got a tube with me! PERFECTION!!!

This particular lipstick does not have the creamy, silky texture of the other Trish McEvoy colors I have. Very disappointing.

Love the color and the way it glides on so smoothly. Will buy again.

Finally found a natural looking lip color after years of searching.

I got the Trish McEvoy New York easy lip color 0.12oz in “Knock Out”. It took a long time to arrive but when it did the packaging was intact and looked promising. According to the exterior their brand is vegan, cruelty free, and plant based. Their lip colors are infused with “hyaluronic filling spheres” whatever that means….I noticed right away the color didn’t seem to be what I remembered from back when I ordered this. Sure enough, I double-checked the pictures on line and it’s NOT the lovely dark berry/mauve pictured. I specifically selected that shade because of how attractive it looked. Very disappointingly, as you can see in my pictures, Knockout is a very orangy-red color. It’s not flattering on my skin tone and bro no a out the redness in my cheeks.Overall, the quality of the lipstick seems OK. There’s no weird smells or drying out of the skin after wearing. It’s lightweight not heavy but probably wouldn’t last through a meal without re-application. However, in general, color-matching is a big issue for me when it comes to makeups. Especially when one item hits you at 30 bucks….so I’m giving this 2 out of 5 stars. Didn’t wow me at all.

I must say for the price you would think this would have a seal on it. Not sure if I would order this brand again.
