Bubblescope BubblePod Clockwork 360 Degree Turntable for iOS/Android Smartphones - Black/Black

Really wanted to like this but should have checked the reviews of the android app on Google play store first (1.6 out of 5). I can't comment on the iphone app as that may work ok but I would check it before buying this.Everybody has the same repeating comments that the app just doesn't work/capture. Messed around with every setting but after pressing capture it refuses to do anything even though it gives the impression that it is going to start.I wrote to customer services and to their credit they came back the next working day. Apologised and recommended using a third party app that is free of charge and has bubblepod setting. Unfortunately the app is only free of charge with poor settings and you have to pay for the hd pro version. I didn't bother as the free version crashed every time I left the bubblepod to go around 360 degrees- would only work if I stopped it midway(not a Bubblepix app granted but it is the one they seem to be touting as a solution).Overall, great idea let down by poor implementation for android. If the iphone app works then it would be worth considering as the actual Bubblepod seems reasonably made.

The BubblePod does what it says on the tin, no issues with it there. Your problems start with the app. Constant error messages and constantly crashes. I've never been able to capture a panorama using this item and the app. And don't rely on Bubblepod's customer service - it's as bad as their app!

I spent three days of life, and could not make any normal photos. the device is rotated too fast. buublepic android application does not react at all, just not take picture. google camera show error - rotated too fast. phone (sonh xperia z) is shaking during rotation. No recomended!

Bought this to take Cardboard panoramas and it works fine (the company that makes this has disappeared and although you can still find the Bubble app it doesn't work). The Cardboard camera app is free and easy to useThere are cheaper alternatives but this is sturdily made and will fit on a standard tripod, so you can also use it as a tripod adapter for ordinary photos.A neat little bonus is that it will also slot into the top of a wine bottle.Anticipating lots of fun with this, might even justify getting a phone with a better camera.

i purchased this bubblepod for myself as I really enjoy taking panoramic shots using my iPhone and saw this as the next logical step. I had seen plenty of options online that added an extra piece to your camera lens, but the Bubblepod was the only device that allowed you to leave the device free standing.When the device arrived, I was very impressed with the packaging, it was smart, precise and well detailed. The Pod slotted nicely inside the box and came with a soft bag and basic instructions on how to use it.Firstly I downloaded the free companion app which was really easy to find, install and register for. I then took the device into the garden to trial it and the results were fantastic. The pod rotated smoothly, giving a really crisp and detailed pictures. My iPhone 6 sat snuggly inside the silicon grip and the rubber grips on the base of the pod held it to the surface i was using.All in all this is a great little piece of kit, that allows you to take excellent 360 degree images with minimal fuss.top tip - the bud can even be secured to the top of a beer bottle for better elevation.
