Ease of use!
I have nine different stoves to use while camping or just chilling on my deck, and after buying this rocket stove my purchasing days may be over. After receiving this today I had to try it out. Unlike others who were missing the wing nuts mine had all parts. Assembly is a breeze, just lay the front side face down on the ash and wood fill doors, slide the stabilizer bar into the groove on the bottom back and secure it with the two wing nuts. Put the two pot stands into the chimney and your done. I put a small piece of fatwood into the wood fill shoot lit it and let it burn for a minute and then placed small 4x1” pieces of wood onto the burning fatwood. I see why it’s called a rocket stove. I never put more than 4 pieces of wood into the wood fill shoot and the stove worked like a champ. I kept the fill door closed while the stove was burning so that the flames went up the chimney and not out the fill shoot. Every several minutes I added several more pieces of wood. I used the poker provided to move the burning wood around. The stove burns out pretty quickly after you stop feeding it. The ash door on the bottom of the stove makes short work of cleaning the ashes out! The design and ease of use was a pleasant surprise. The steel it’s constructed with is strong enough to last many a camping trip. I purchased it on sale $31 and that is a deal. The two carry bags and gloves should keep the soot from soiling my other camp gear. Bring your cast iron cooking utensils as this stove can handle 130lbs. This stove is the real deal. Buy it!

A handy little rocket stove that still packs a punch!
I bought this along with a fancy isobutane stove to go camping and used it recently. It was probably my favorite part of the camping trip. Was easy to set up, slides right together. Just used scrap wood from our campfire and a little starter and off it would go! It boiled my water so quickly. I ended up using it way more than I did the fancy stove! I love how the piece at the top can accommodate different vessel sizes. Makes it extremely versatile. I see myself bringing it on every camping trip I take in the future!

Lightweight and gets the job done
This little stove works exactly as it is supposed to. It will support a cast iron pan. It does get hot, do use mitts when cooking! It is light weight and can fold up, so it is great for backpacking.

Definitely worth the money.
If you like camping this thing beats the hell out of a propane stove. It doesn't get as hot but you don't have to worry about stupid propane bottles running out and all that other nonsense. You could push it into duty for backpacking if you wanted to carry it it's relatively small I doubt it would fit in your pack but it comes with a nice little carry bag and it doesn't weigh anything especially since you don't have to Lug fuel around with it. And it's considerably better than those little folding junkers they sell for backpacking. I have had no trouble cooking meals for three on this thing. The secret is don't overload it it will choke and keep the ash area clear so it can properly draw. Playing with this thing I've used sticks I gathered up in the desert I cut down store-bought firewood into chunks about 1 in by 3 in and I tried charcoal briquettes and even Cow Patties this thing Burns it all.. it took me about an hour in a light Breeze to cook a 20 inch cast iron skillet full of burrito Stuffins. Was about two and a half pounds of ground beef onions refried beans seasoning. And it did it on three loads of the 1x3 inch cut up seasoned firewood. And I didn't have to hunch over a campfire getting smoked out to do it. I'm probably going to buy one or two more of these things to squirrel away in my prepping gear. I like this one over the others because this one you can dampen down and simmer stuff or keep a pot of coffee warm.

Great deal
Works really good. Boiled 2 quarts of water and 15 minutes. Cooked breakfast on it with no problem. The damper doors work OK but I think with a little tweaking, they’ll be just fine. Just remember that when you start if it’s going to be smoky so I don’t have any food around the area. The temperature on the side of it was between five and 600°. I would highly recommend this stove. And it comes with a really good carrying case. Well-made well machined.

Awesome stove
I did a lot of research on rocket stoves and this one was one of the most reasonably priced yet still had good reviews. I am really impressed how well it is designed and how sturdy it is-I like how the leg/brace easily comes off and the whole thing fits in a neat little travel bag-very well thought out. The first time I used it I put some pieces of a 1x4 I had and cut them into 6-8" long pieces and then split into smaller sizes with my hatchet-this worked perfectly. I found out with some experimenting that it burned better and with less smoke if I kept the bottom ash door closed, the middle draft door wide open and the door where you add the wood closed once it burns the wood down low enough to get it shut. The well designed pot/pan holder on the top of the stove should fit almost anything you'd like to cook with. My main reason for purchasing this rocket stove is for if/when we have any lengthy power outages I won't need to run my generator just to cook a pot of soup, fry some eggs or whatever- this should work great for that. I would recommend this great little rocket stove-you won't be disappointed.

This will hold a fire until all the kindling is ash
I love this so much! I cook on it, I have nice relaxing fires with it. Once you get it started, it will incinerate all that is in it! It makes clean up super easy, just dump the ashes
