Mind-Blowing Little Gadget – Every Car Owner NEEDS This!
I cannot rave enough about this OBD2 scanner. It’s like carrying a mechanic in your pocket. Plug it in, open the app, and in seconds you get a complete health check of your car. Fault codes? Found them. Performance test? Done. Smog check and oil reset? Easy. I went from clueless about what my engine light meant to actually knowing exactly what was wrong and saving myself a pricey trip to the garage. The wireless connection is seamless, the app is slick and user-friendly, and the detail it gives is just insane for something so compact. Honestly, it’s fun to use like unlocking a secret dashboard of your car. Free updates mean it’ll only get smarter over time. If you own a car and don’t have this, you’re missing out. Total game-changer. Buy it, thank yourself later.

Solid little bit of kit
A nice handy little tool that I would fully recommend. I have used it a few times, just as I am quite paranoid about any potential faults with my newly purchased car. It has so far given me confidence that the car is in good shape. I think it’s provided accurate readings as, based on the actual car manufacturer testing, they also have found no issues on the car so the scanner is doing its parts. I would highly recommend this for someone looking to purchase a new car as part of their due diligence on the car and ensuring that it is in good condition. App interface is quite simple and lots of options available for the test you can do. Unfortunately my car has its obd port in an awkward location such that the scanner can’t really sit in and give live readings as I drive, so not been able to use the feature. It is a very small tool though, as shown by the picture using a small lip gloss for sizing reference. I would imagine most cars, it would fit in well. Nonetheless, the features I have used, it’s been very clear what’s going on and what it’s looking for. You get a lifetime account with this purchase so I would absolutely recommend.

Good OBD2
Great OBD2 unit. Unfortunately it failed to clear the airbag warning lamp on my Audi A1. Before I bought the unit, I messaged the seller / manufacturer who assured me the OBD2 will clear the error code. After failing to clear the code, I contacted the seller again. The customer service was really good and for a while they liaised with their support staff. After a few attempts they either gave up or their IT support staff did. This meant this unit was not going to solve my issue, so I had no choice but to return it. On the positive side, you can monitor your cars performance and it's ideal for all sorts of information even if it's a bit excessive.

Reliable Tool and Exceptional Customer Support!
I bought the AD20 Pro OBD2 Scanner in 2023, and it’s been absolutely brilliant. It’s quick, reliable, and incredibly easy to use — exactly what you want when diagnosing issues with your vehicle. The app interface is clear and intuitive, and the scanner itself has helped me catch and understand faults before they become bigger problems. What really impressed me, though, was the customer service. I recently needed to contact the manufacturer for support, and their response was outstanding. They were fast, friendly, and went out of their way to help me get my scanner back up and running. It's rare to find this level of care and professionalism these days. Highly recommended — great product, fantastic support, and peace of mind every time I plug it in!

Doesn't pass muster
Reasons to *not* buy the Xtool AD20 Pro:- 1) Hard - very hard - to remove. The dongle is low profile (nice) but has a rounded top with no grab handle or means to connect a lanyard. 2) The app requires an online account/registration simply to use it. 3) Android app wants lots of permissions **including advertising**. 4) App only does basic OBD tests. Anything more needs an active Internet connection which is a problem for remote areas.

XTOOL scanners are the Best!! Quality, price, and works well!
XTOOL scanners will save you time and money! It is almost impossible live without one with all the electronics in today's cars. I now have the XTOOL D8BT, AD10, and the AD20 pro and love them all! Just yesterday while leaving work, my son's battery light came on in his Camry, so he took out the D8BT scanner from his trunk and quickly learned his alternator was not working. He had enough time to get to a parts store, repair the car, and return the core. Earlier in the day, I received my AD20 pro and decided to check it out on my 2007 Toyota Sienna Van. It worked flawlessly! It scanned my entire vehicle and cleared my TPS light in the dashboard. You must scan a QR code on the instruction sheet to get started. It will take you about 10 minutes to follow the easy to understand steps. I have a new 5G phone and the highest speed internet Spectrum offers. Once you plug the dongle in the OBDII port under the dash and your vehicle communicates with your phone via Bluetooth, you will see a big difference between the AD10 and the AD20 pro. I was hoping the AD10 app would work on the AD20 pro, but you will see that there are so much more parameters and sensors that are tested with the AD20 pro, that it needs a whole new app. When the AD20 pro tests your vehicle, it is very fast! What is new and amazing and where Wi-Fi comes into play is that the AD20 pro will not just give you the trouble code, it will take you to a website that explains the code and even recommend videos that you can watch on your phone to solve your problem. There is live data where you can select all or only the sensors you want to watch. Most times you will look at fuel trims, rpm, MAF, O2 Sensors, and voltage. So you can monitor what you prefer. You can leave the dongle in the OBDII port to monitor your driving habits. This scanner can tell you if you are driving well. The only times I have problems with my XTOOL scanners is deciding which one to buy. It wasn't long after the XTOOL D7 scanner came out that the XTOOL D8 scanner came available. It was hard enough deciding between the D7 and the D8 because now the XTOOL D8BT came out. I decided to buy the D8BT and that was the best decision I made. My friend bought the other brand that I was considering, I tried it and I would have been disappointed. Getting back to my XTOOL AD20 pro, again I had a little problem deciding between the AD20 or the AD20 pro. I chose this AD20 pro, but I am confident that either or would be a good choice!

Mixed bag
The scanner does very well. I have a fussy Audi and I couldn't get it to run an in-depth scan in my car but I'm sure it's the car. I asked for and received help but it didn't work. The scanner is good though and picked up several faults.

Love it so easy to use
Love it. Opened it and plugged it in. It set itself up without me doing anything, ( just click yes or no) then identified my car and downloaded the correct files for it . This is how software should be. Then I examined my car and gave me a report I then looked at the faults it had found, I can then clear the fault but it It will find it next time until i fix it. It can even go online if you want to find out more detailed information, I preferred to goole it myself. Yes Love it so simple to use. Well done
