I didn't quite know what to expect, so I took a chance and was to say the least very impressed with what turned up. It was well packaged in a custom sturdy cardboard box and the arm itself is strong and really well made. I had carefully checked the width of my wind up tripod extension with callipers, so as expected the clamp fitted perfectly with a nice rubber grip built in. Once clamped on it just becomes a solid extension, although fully extended you may get a small bit of movement due to leverage if pushed down. It comes with adaptors for those that don't use the universal quarter inch screw and there is a ball joint at the end, although I was unable to tilt my phone upwards past 90 degrees due design of the gimble, which is not a problem for normal use. So if you want a tripod extension for copying documents or any other activity that requires the phone or camera to be away from the tripod then this is about as good as it gets. In fact I have set mine up so the phone is on the end of the extension and LED video lighting with reflector brolly sits on the actual tripod head, making a portable mini studio with soft lighting.

Really sturdy and high quality. While one is being used as a normal desk mount to hold a phone at eye level for video calls, I'm actually using the other as an action camera mount on a canadian canoe and its holding up well even to that. Great value for money and I trust the neewer camera gear to be reliable.

Perfect for my use case to mount my action camera or a spotlight to the arm coming off my tripod. Very sturdy and doesn’t sag even when extended to full length. Strong and Stable even in windy conditions, and doesn’t weight a lot to carry around. End comes with a 1/4inch screw to extremely versatile to connect to most devices/accessories. Although I don’t use it for this function, having the ball head end also helps if you are recording yourself over a table for videos.

Five stars if the pole attachment was 20 cm longer. You're shooting a top down and the pole attaches to the side of your desk so it's not in view of the main shot. Sadly it's so far to the left or right that your unboxing shots have to be separate from your PTC. I'd much rather have had a longer and sturdier cross section. It would have had five stars if so.

Very flexible for height adjustment. It holds my metal bodied DSLR and a heavy prime lens without any problem at all. Great quality as with everything made by Neewer. Good price. I am very happy.

I was honestly surprised by how good this stand is. I’m using it with a Nikon Z6 and a 24–70mm lens, and it holds my camera incredibly well. Really impressed with the stability and build quality!

So this is the second time buying this product and the other one broke right at the unfortunate clamp part and taking a good look seems to be an issue with the clamp breaking right at the joint

Purchased two of these based on the load capacity only. Couldn't care less if it bends, rotates, whatever.... Turns out those functions are super useful to me! I have my video studio attached to my sit stand desk. One of these is holding up my filed monitor, the other a Sony A7iii, teleprompter, and a 13 inch iPad pro. Not only does it hold all the weight, I can tilt the stand forward (by one click) to get the perfect camera shot and still not worry about it toppling. I'll be replacing my light stands with these in the future. Top!
