StoreYourBoard Rooftop Cargo Box Garage Ceiling Storage Hoist, Overhead Organizer Lift System, Heavy Duty Holds 150 lbs

I had seen this used to store surfboards and kayaks in Cornwall, and it's now used to hoist my roof box into the garage ceiling. Easy to install, good quality fixings (no tarnishing or rust even after a season in the outdoors), and even in high winds the box only swayed a little. The screws included were too short for my ceiling so I used my own bolts, but the rest of the supplied parts are good quality. The rope has not gone brittle as most cheaper ones tend to, and it works perfectly doing what I needed - storing the roof box well out of the way until needed.

Item looks good and secure, pictures in guide needed a bit more detail. But easy enough to work out. Can be mounted both ways to a ceiling joist. Good news its holding in place. If it does not, I will be back!

Spot on for what I needed. It’s a bit fiddly to install with the amount of string to feed, but once it’s done it’s excellent.

Easy to put up, keeps roofbox out of the way to make space for all the other junk in the garage. Can get stuck if you pull too high
