Corner Shower Caddy with Suction Cups and 3M Adhesive Mounting Discs for porous surfaces - Stainless Steel Basket for Bathroom Storage (Chrome)

This review was for the two tier version that I also purchased which is exactly the same as this item. So this review applies to both these single and the two tier. Exactly what I was looking for. Perfect size. Looks good too. So far, vacuum suction cups work like a charm even with the large 1 litre bottle of shampoo and several others. Customer support was great too, I thought a black rubber suction base was missing so I contacted them and they quickly responded. 2 of them were in place on the knobs already and there was 1 extra black rubber base also, just in case. I would recommend this for everyone looking for a small, yet very functional, corner shower organizer. UPDATE 10/02/2021 Wow, an absolutely genius shower caddy. I cannot believe it's no longer available. I have had it in the same spot for nearly 4 years and it has NEVER fallen off. Never took it down either until today to clean it thoroughly. I thought I was seeing some rust on the wire shelves and I was afraid I was going to have to search for a new one but NOPE! It was just dirt. Came right off. And I hung it right back up easy peasy! Please bring this back to market, everybody needs this!! 5 STARS!!

I've had three of these products for almost a year, and I love them. A couple tips 1) if the suction cups don't stick at first, put a bit of water on them. I got this tip from another reviewer and it worked wonders. 2) Every so often, tighten the knobs. I just had one fall down after about a year, and when I checked, noticed that the knobs on all of the holders had loosened since I first installed them. Make sure the knobs are super tight, because that strengthens the suction and makes the basket sturdy.

I bought this along with a few other products from Hasko for my bathtub. I learned over the last few months that it's important to dry the wall with a paper towel before installing the product. Since this is a corner, it took attention to balance the suction cups so that it attaches properly and therefore stays attached. It's been getting wet and I have seem no sign of either rusting or peeling.

PROS: • Compact, occupies little space in corner walls • Keeps bottles off edges of tubs, thereby eliminating stain and residue build-up on the bottom • Bottom openings allow water to drain off bottles when wet • HASKO provides one extra suction cup in case one gets damage • Stainless steel material has not rust or corroded after a couple weeks of wet usage • Provides 2 mounting disks for installation on porous (not smooth surfaces like mine) shower walls, in which the bottom contains 3M sticky residue to stick on the wall while the top is smooth to allow the suction to adhere tightly (as seen in picture) • Suction is operated by easily turning the knobs clock-wise to tighten and counter-clockwise to loosen • 2 mounting cups are adjustable so if the mounting disks were not evenly applied, you can easily swivel and adjust the cups to align the bottom suction with the disks • Has stayed suctioned to walls tightly and not budged with daily usage for the past couple of weeks • No tools to use, no holes to drill, no walls to damage, just use suction cups for smooth walls or included mounting disks beforehand for porous walls CONS: • NONE TIPS: • When using mounting disks to apply on porous surfaces, instructions states to hold it firmly for 30 seconds to ensure reside adheres to walls properly, but I held it tightly for about 1 minute per disk to give it more time to stick • I used the palm of my hand to cover the mounting disks to ensure all parts of the bottom sticky side adheres to surface • To ensure most optimal "stickiness", leave the mounting disks alone for 24 hours to dry and stick properly (includes not using the shower) before installing the caddy

Did not stick to tiled wall. Kept falling even empty. Do not purchase.

I bought this about a month ago and wanted to wait and test out the suction before writing a review. I will day this is enough room for all my products and one other item from my boyfriend. The first 2 weeks every time I got in the shower one suction was loose, but the organizer never fell down. It wasn’t until about week 2 that I realized I didn’t have the suction exactly in the right place for the wall and then I’ve had no problems since. TIPS: make sure everything is really dry before putting this up and make sure the suction is slid close enough to the corner that you get a good seal. (All this will make sense when you put it up the first time) Overall I’m pleased and would buy again.

I bought this so I can have more shelf space in my shower. The size and quality are great, but it just doesn't seem to stick to the wall. The walls in my shower are lined with ceramic tile. I did as the instructions said to clean the surface with rubbing alcohol and wait until dry. The first time I mounted it, it fell after 20 minutes (didn't add any other weight on it from shampoo or body wash bottles). I reread the instructions and saw that it said to move the knob back and forth as you tighten to release the air and create a stronger suction. I did that and it still fell, but this time after 2 hours of mounting. I then tried again and really tightened the knobs with as much strength as I could. I left it on over night and the next morning it was still on (with my products). I thought it was set, but then came home to it after work on my shower floor. I'm rating it 3 stars since it may work better on other surfaces. I'll be returning and buying one of those that hangs over the shower head. Too bad, I like the size and design.

This item is consistently proving itself to be of excellent make. This powder coated series is nearly rust proof after more than half a year of use. The only downside is the lifespan inconsistency of the suction cup. The weigh threshold deteriorates when the suction cup rubber is not maintained. Overall, an excellent alternative to the standard chrome version.

The Hasko brand (like Gecko) are EXCELLENT options for showers and bathtub areas where you need good adhesion without permanence. The suction-hold on these is superb, and the look, clean and aesthetic. Sturdy construction, and holds a lot. Follow the recommended installation guidelines (clean surfaces with alcohol, retighten after initial installation...) I bought several products from this line. Highly recommend.

I wanted to avoid drilling through the bathroom tiles and so overcame my pessimism with regard to suction-type fittings. It's hardly cheap and looks well-made . I carefully cleaned and dried the tiles and then pressed the suction cups into position. They stuck to the wall firmly- very impressive (clearly I needed to revise my cynical outlook). But then I tightened up one side which effectively pulled off the other side . In a instant I knew that my hopes and were going to come to nothing and my dreams were shattered in pieces on the ground rather like the tiles may well be when I have a go at drilling through them.

I use this as a shower shelf. This is easy to install and holds alot of product. Started with a different product and the sticky hangers started coming loose in 5 months . I’ve used these before and periodically ( like once a year) they’ll come off. Simply wipe the wall & suction cups with rubbing alcohol or hydrogen peroxide to clean and then rehang.

Appliqué directement sur céramique lisse avec ventouses. La suction augmente en resserrant la charpente du panier après les 2 ventouses (il y a des coches exprès pour retenir le panier). Bien conçu. Faut mouiller les ventouses (avec de la salive...faut pas se gêner). 2 semaines avec 3 bouteilles pleines et rien ne bouge. Je n'ai pas eu à appliquer les surfaces autocollantes fournies. Ça nécessite une céramique parfaitement lisse sinon les autocollants pourraient devenir nécessaires. Assurer que le fond du panier soit bien à l'horizontale en resserrant les ventouses.
