As soon as it arrived, I loaded a matching purple thread into my sewing machine and repaired a frayed hem on a night gown. Worked perfectly. The 1000 yard spools were well packaged and had a little sticker on each spool to show where the beginning strand of the thread was located. No more searching around for a thread end which saves a lot of time. I was impressed with the variety of colors in this 24 spool collection that will meet most of my sewing needs. This Simthread is a good all-purpose thread, 100% polyester, strong. 1000yards will last me a very long time as a home sewer.

I love sewing with bright colors and using bright colored threads. This set of threads are beautiful. Even though they are polyester, they give the appearance of quality cotton quilting thread. They really aren't shiny like embroidery thread. These threads are perfect for sewing or topstitching. I used them to make bowl cozies (see photos) on black fabric and the thread stands out so well. I had no problems with breakage or any other issues and very little lint. Note, if you use this thread for bowl cozies, you can't microwave them since this thread polyester thread and will burn if microwaved. Overall, a super value for this quality and quantity of thread.

These spools of thread are wonderful I love them and I will buy them again when I need them!

Garbage thread! Extremely disappointing! Thread breaks very easily. It’s good for nothing but fire starters. It only gets one star because I was forced to choose a star rating & zero wasn’t a choice. It gets a zero from me!

Beautiful thread, but in my machine would not work. I will try again when I get new machine. Mine is old.

I was a faithful sewing for several years to Guterman threads. My Singer Featherweight technician advised it. Trying to pinch pennies in 2025 I ordered a set of 3 white and 3 black spools.The Featherweight machine has no issues with thread. My other 4 machines of various vintages seem to like it too. I'll be ordering more.
