Take your phone shoots to the NEXT LEVEL
The media could not be loaded. I can’t tell you how long I’ve waited for something like this to exist - a pocked sized gimbal for your phone that is super easy and quick to set up that ACTUALLY WORKSI have a full sized gimbal that I use with my DSLR camera for shoots, but it takes 10+ minutes to set up properly (adjusting, balancing, etc) which makes me not want to use it very often. The Insta360 Flow by comparison just takes seconds to set up. You attach the clamp to your phone (which works on a full size S23 Ultra with a case), magnetically attach that to the gimbal, and it is ready to go. No cumbersome balancing acts, no frustration, it just works. The compact size is a marvel of engineering. It’s lightweight and folds up neatly to fit into my pocket. As a content creator constantly on the go and who loves to travel light, this is a huge advantage. And with modern phone cameras competing with DSLR cameras now, a product like this makes a lot of sense. It’s amazing what kind of shots you can get with this, the stability is insane (see attached video of me purposefully swinging my arm around wildly and the gimbal taking all of it - TRULY impressive stuff). There’s a lot of features I haven’t even had a chance to use in-depth yet (like the AI tracking, 360 panorama photos, etc) but I basically bought this for it’s gimbal abilities, and I can tell you I’m truly impressed. I had doubts that the motors wouldn’t be powerful enough for large, heavier phones but I’m happy to report that is not the case.In summary, this pocket-sized gimbal has not only met but absolutely exceeded my expectations. It outshines traditional gimbals in ease of setup, usability, portability, and even overall performance. It's something I can take everywhere with me and the fact that it's so quick and easy to setup means I use it more often. If you’re looking for a gimbal that delivers professional results without the hassle of a traditional setup, this is the one for you. I cannot recommend this gimbal enough - it’s an absolute game changer!

An Impressive Debut Gimbal from Insta360!
Insta360 knocked it out of the park with the Flow. I’ve taken this gimbal on numerous trips in the past month and I love it! It’s easy to use, ready to go in a twist, has a built-in selfie stick and tripod in the handle, long battery life and it’s ultra portable. It feels really nice to hold in your hand. The one (small) issue that I found with it is that the touch controls on the wheel can be a bit finicky but overall, the controls are intuitive and easy to use. The Flow also has some really neat AI features within the companion Insta360 app. You can lock onto and track the subject you're filming, change your recording settings and also edit all of your footage together in a few taps. The AI tracking is especially impressive as it accurately tracks your subject. Even if they fall out of frame, the gimbal will jump back and get right back to tracking. It’s very impressive. If you're familiar with the Insta360 Link webcam, that camera is a good example as to how the AI features work. All in all, the Flow is familiar yet very different than any other gimbal out there. It’s an impressive, well thought out debut gimbal from Insta360! Very happy with my impulse purchase!

Great Gimbal But Must Use Their App to Film
This is *much* easier to use than the DJI Osmo 6 and a lot faster to get up to speed on. I like the comparatively minimal controls and the dummy-proof gimbal setting. It's also lighter. I highly recommend the Insta over the Osmo. The one big problem for me that I didn't understand going in is that you must use their Insta camera app to film. If you use anything else, you won't be able to track. This is serious - and not made clear enough in the description/advertising - as it means the camera will not follow you or your subject as you move around. Their Insta camera app is quite limited and not geared to pro users. I have a Moment iphone camera case with an anamorphic lens that I was hoping to use to create a more cinematic look. But that setup requires a serious camera app like Blackmagic or FilmicPro. The Insta app is like a toy in comparison. I'm hoping I can create a workaround, otherwise I feel stuck with an only partially usable toy in the Insta360. It's disappointing since I really wanted to use it for filmmaking and possibly more pro-looking youtube posts in the future.A few other negatives - the grip design really could use some work. Even with the plastic extenders pulled out, it's too short in the hand and not a comfortable hold. The tripod foot also is pretty flimsy plastic and feels like it could break. It really can't be stabilized except if you're on a totally flat surface like a desk. It won't stand well in the outdoors like on ground. It'd be better to attach it to a stake or something. The Osmo tripod legs and grip outshine the Insta by a lot, though that adds to its weight.
