Exceptional performance
I tested these in apple cider vinegar with a PH of ~3. The PH of the stomach is between 1.5 and 3 generally speaking. After 2 hours, the enteric capsules were still well intact. The regular pills failed after about 5 minutes. Now, of course the human stomach churns contents through powerful muscular contractions so you cannot expect 100% accurate results from this. However, given how quickly the regular capsules fell apart, I think these capsules stand a very strong chance at making it through the largest of meals.I'm using these capsules for bile salts. Bile is very alkaline and the not only will it bring stomach acid levels down and screw up protein breakdown (possibly leading the heartburn and indigestion), the low PH of the stomach renders standard bile supplements almost useless. So, you're doing more harm than good by taking them at the beginning of the meal. I didnt wanna have to worry about always waiting 2 hours after a meal to take them. Although this is effective, it's very cumbersome and inconvenient. These capsules have proven to hold up both in my ACV trial and in my digestive system as well. I no longer get acid reflux from bile supplements with these and I break down fats perfectly now.Thank you XPRS Nutra, my digestion thanks you as well.Sincerely, a very happy customer.

Works as intended
The capsules are just as advertised, work well, and are good value imo.

Enteric coated capsule pods
This is a great way to get essential oils or bitter herbs to the gut without losing any potency or impact on your health. A bit tedious to fill, but worth it for the results.

Tested and works!
I tested these hypromellose phthalate capsules in 4 mediums: Lemon Juice with a pH of ~2, Apple Cider Vinegar with a pH of ~3, 35% Hydrogen Peroxide with a pH of ~5, and Baking Soda with a pH ~8. I set a timer for 1 hour (meaning tests lasted up to 1 hour). Here are the results:Lemon Juice: 1+ hourApple Cider Vinegar: 1+ hourHydrogen Peroxide: 1st fail after 22 minutes, last fail at 27 minutesBaking Soda: 1st fail 8 minutes, last fail after 12 minutes. For reference, regular cellulose capsules failed between 1-5 minutes in all solutions.

Easy to use
Used this item to get medicine through stomach acid and into small intestine. I’m assuming it worked.

Very strange smell and taste
White enteric capsules made of gelatin and HPMC phthalate, according to the ingredients list on label. They have a very noticeable and not too pleasant smell and taste to them, what I can best describe as "chemical-ish" for lack of a better word, a fact which doesn't sit well in the back of my mind knowing that there may be a list of not so health risk free components used in the manufacturing process.Residual solvents? Cross contamination? Adulterated ingredients? I would really like to know and might try to find out myself.Don't know if their QC made a mistake or what have you, but is not something to take lightly since this will not only have consequences for the consumers, but to the producer.
