Can’t uphold a standard Rode mic. The weight distribution isn’t considered once in this product. It’s starting to get flimsy and the knots are not tight enough for my liking. They tend to come loose and this throws off the Balance of the stand.

Cost effective mic isolation
Firstly this is not going to give you Maria Carey production values, but it does do what’s it’s meant to.It feels somewhat cheap but then it’s £35 and comes with its own small tripod and deflector. Really can’t complain for the price. If you are looking for an entry level podcasting or basic vocal recording acoustic treatment this will work a treat.Box was slightly damaged and the acoustic sponge was abit dented here and there hence 1 star removed.
