2019 Jeep Cherokee
Very impressed with these bulbs. I’ve purchased Philips Ultinon LED’s as well as Sylvania in the past but the shape and design of this pair is far superior. They no longer have that odd shape and they relocated the diodes which improved the light output and they also added a lens cover. Only downside is because these bulbs draw way less current they will cause a bulb out warning on majority of newer vehicles which can only be solved by splicing in a load resistor. My lights still work great without the resistors even though the bulb warning is there but it doesn’t bother because they still work and function as normal. I’ve considered installing resistors but do to the location of reverse lights being on my lift gate I’d have to remove my liner just to be able get to a location to mount the resistors to which is the only way to mount them because they’re extremely hot and will burn plastic. Hopefully one day Philips creates bulbs with built in load resistors!

Look great and OEM quality
The media could not be loaded. Replaced the rear turn signals on my 2018 Acura TLX with 7440 Ultinon LEDs. Installed them with the Philips CANbus resistors. They work well and look great. They appear to be well engineered and OEM quality. The resistors really do get hot and I was careful to mount them with the included nylon ties on to metal inside the body.

Work for my Outback
I was most concerned about these bulbs having hyper flash and needing to add a resistor. Not the case for my 2012 Subaru Outback. Plug and play and they work just fine. They might be somewhat brighter, but not much. I just hope they last longer than the incandescent bulbs that I've had bad luck with.

Works perfect in Nissan Rogue but need amber
The 7440WLED works and fits perfectly in 2022 Nissan Rogue, no hyperflash, no error. Unfortunately I needed the amber color for this purpose. Unfortunately, It doesn't seem that Philips is selling the 7440 in amber.

Sends Error codes intermittently on VW PASSAT.
I keep getting intermittent error codes to my center screen which is very annoying. I have a 2013 VW Passat. It looks like the VW PASSAT does not take well to LED bulbs for up front light bulbs. I did purchase a back-up light and trunk light that seem to work fine. But any LED's I tried to put up front have given me issues.

Not bright enough to clearly see what's behind when reversing
Only 1 star for brightness because it's not really any brighter than the yellow color oem bulbs that's installed with my Outlander 2011, probably even dimmer directly behind the car when reversing. My red brake lights are even brighter directly behind the car.And there's no way I can adjust orientation of led installation because it will only go one way into the bulb slot of the reversing lights. Illumination is brighter to the sides of the car than to the rear of the car. The only thing I like is the color of the beam which is white and not yellow.5 stars to easy installation because it's simple to put in and with regards to longevity, I only assumed it will go the distance because it's a Philips.

get sunglasses
yeah, get sunglasses because these suckers are bright! helps so much when i reverse into my spot at home. there's a lot of trees around here, and not much street or ambient light, and these LED reverse bulbs have greatly improved my rearward vision when trying to back into my spot at home.

Not bright as advertised
I usually go for Philips led products, always high quality construction and long lasting (for example christmas LEDs, daylight running lights, etc), BUT I didn't listen to other reviewers negative notes on these. I agree, they look and feel like good quality, but the lighting is dimmer than incandescents, at least on older vehicles (upgrading 2000 model year toyota 4runner and tacoma). The design is poor, LEDs shine toward inside of the lighting assembly; on older cars without reflective lining inside the assembly, the LEDs don't shine bright enough. To get light through an amber turn signal lense, you need a white LED bulb, but even that is insufficient, and the light quality looks pale. (Philips tells you to match an amber bulb with an amber light assembly - nope, that's even dimmer result.) I tried an off brand off Amazon (free return, so worth a try), and the lighting quality and design substantially outperformed these Philips.
