Is the collar easy to use? Is it too tight?

A little tight but holds the weight plates firmly.

Are the bars welded vertically? Will it be crooked? I've seen this problem reflected in the reviews of other brands.

Mine is normal, and I don’t feel the weight tilting in any direction when using it.

I've been using it for a few days and feel a noticeable improvement on my shin muscles, so I'm ready to work on my knees and ankles next.

Do I need to install the foam myself?

No, they has already installed it. I have purchased WINBOX before. It is not convenient to remove and replace, and the foam is not as big as that of Fitarc.
