My mother was crying of pain and her ankles were swelling up all the time. We used a cold compress and messaged her feet around her ankle to reduce the pain and swelling, but it helped only a little. When i saw these socks in Amazon, and ordered them to give it a try. I didn't hear any cries of pain or discomfort from my Mother for a couple of days. I mentioned it to my mother, and she had to think about it. I saw how the socks gave total comfort around her ankle, as it fitted snugly around her feet. It appears this really works and I would highly recommend it to everyone suffering from pain and swollen ankles.

Really supportive and comfortable. Nice to wear. And help to support your feet. Makes your feet feel a lot easier and supports them throughout the day. They are also. Helps to ease your feet and are breathable to. They are stretchy but if you have a wider ankle they maybe tight fitting.

I bought these as an experiment to see what compression socks are like. I like the socks. They ease foot discomfort. Unlike some of the other comments, they are not too tight if you buy the right size. They are very comfortable. However, some of the stitching unravels in the wash and wraps itself around the rest of the washing. This has happened twice with different socks, so I can't see them lasting long, but they are a better price than some of the ones out there, so I guess you get what you pay for.

I dont leave a review usually,but i had to leave one for these socks,when you first put them on you instantly feel better,i have planta fascilles and they really work,wore them for a week,then took them off and went without fot only one day,and i couldnt wait to put them back on again,changed my insoles aswell so both things really help

I broke my ankle badly in three places last December and suffer from pain in my foot caused by nerve damage during the operation to fix it. I have tried various things advertised on the internet to see if they would help. Unfortunately my calf is rather swollen and these socks, while fine on my foot, are far too tight over my calf and I can't wear them. I haven't sent them back because they are damaged - I thought that cutting the cuff might alleviate the problem, but it doesn't. I will hang on to them and see if there is any change in the future.

Stabbing pain in my heel, for suspected planter fasciitis, has been quite unbearable and research led me to buy these. Although, the pain hasn’t disappeared completely, it does give relief all day and I finally don’t hobble around the house, and just sense the pain is there but definitely reduced. They’re firm enough, not too tight to cut off blood circulation, and I can wear my home slippers due to these being toeless. Going to wear them all day for adventure training camp next week and hopefully will survive the action. Good bargain for four pairs! And I like that there is no branding on the socks!

Was very sceptical that these would make a difference- I was really struggling to walk or stand due to a flare up but after just one day I immediately felt a slight improvement and after three days the pain whilst still there was very much improved so much so that I have ordered another set of 4 and will be wearing these all the time. Wonderful product
