Excellent for the price
I have an expensive all singing all dancing smart watch..that needs charging every night. As I was going on holiday I bought this so that I wouldn't have to remember a charger and I figured it wouldn't matter if I swam in it and it broke. It's now my main watch! I swam in the sea every day, it barely needs charging weekly, and it's small neat, gives me my notifications etc. The only thing I can't do is take calls, but tbh I rarely did anyway. The step counter seems reasonably accurate too.Just as good as far more expensive smart watches!

Designed to work with the VeryFit app📱📱📱📱
TOOBUR Activity & Fitness TrackerDesigned to work with the VeryFit app which can be downloaded to your smartphone / ipad etc.I was pleased with how easy it was to set up once the app was downloaded. I’m of a generation where new technology can be a challenge, so I was chuffed to get it all working without the aid of a ‘young thing’s help’.I chose to trial this for a week before writing the review to really give it a chance to work.I can’t always get the touch screen to come on with a ‘touch’ and sometimes it needs a jiggle to get it to work, it may be user error on my behalf; however, it can be frustrating.Details on the screen are small and I need my glasses on to read them, which I don’t always have if I’m out walking. The time is large enough to read for me without my glasses. After the time, the next screen shows 3 readings: your steps, your calorie usage and the number of miles those steps convert to.Swipe sideways or up and down for various different screens. I also go to the app on my phone for more data as the screen is larger there. I’ve only tried the walking mode, but might use the cycling one too, if I can work out how to change things. I don’t like to have electronics around me while I sleep, so I can’t report back on the sleep monitoring.Lots of folks have these type of ‘fit’ monitoring devices. This one is a good budget price and does enough for my needs, it’s quite nice to have a step target each day and know when you’ve achieved it.So, overall good price, does plenty, but one star off as I can’t get the touch screen to work on the first try every time.

Piss poor
Initially seemed pretty good but after a while it constantly looses contact with the phone, notification are sketchy at best and non existent generally, when using it whilst swimming the touch screen rarely works only redeeming feature for me is the charging method which keeps the metal contacts away from my skin (I have nichol dermatitis) , don't buy it.

Updated review
Updated Review: After several days I managed to get a response email in time that allowed me to set-up the watch (see my original review below). In the meantime the seller had seen my review and offered me a full refund (which I can't take because as part of the Amazon Vine programme I didn't pay for the watch in the first place). However, it shows good customer service.Original Review:I can only write a limited review on this because I can’t complete the set-up. On the positive side the watch is a nice size (my wife wanted it because her other watch is too big) and the screen display is clear and intuitive. The features are great for any fitness tracker. The strap appears to be robust and one side has to be detached to recharge the watch. Charging it is simple – the actual watch body is plugged directly into a USB port. It makes me wonder if that will eventually lead to the strap being a bit loose on the watch but that will take a long time (if it ever happens). My problem is the app. I downloaded the VeryFit app as instructed and there comes a point in the set-up where you receive a code that you need to input in the app to carry on. When you request the code the watch counts down for 60 seconds so you need to be ready for the email that’s supposedly on its way. In my case 24 hours later and after several requests I still have nothing. I’ve checked and rechecked the email address several times – it’s perfect. Still nothing. If I ever get a response I’ll complete the review!

Decent Budget Smart Fitness Watch – But Intrusive Nagging For Registration Spoils The Experience
The TOOBUR Activity & Fitness Tracker was supplied in a small, branded cardboard box, inside of which is the main watch chassis and two straps, one of which is detached for charging, the lug of the watch on that side being a USB A compatible charging male plug. In one way this is useful, as long as you get the polarity of the USB plug right in the USB A socket, it will charge, though it does not have fast charge capability. After charging the watch for over 3 hours the first time, it came up with a QR code that is the download for the App – one I’ve actually used before called ‘VeryFit’ – once the App is downloaded and basic information is entered it is ready to go. The App is reasonably good, there are lots of pieces of information recorded such as steps, calories, HR, stress, sleep, SpO2, skin temperature etc, and you can analyze the data from the App, there are also options to change the watch face etc but I chose a basic one and am happy with that. However I noticed that it was running constantly and drains the phones battery quicker than I would have expected.Overall this is a budget smart fitness watch that does the basics pretty well, it seems reasonably accurate, but it is flawed in that it is constantly nagging for registration, if you are cool with that I guess that is fine, but I do not wish to register for an account for something as simple as a fitness aid.
