Maple Grove Farms Buttermilk & Honey Pancake & Waffle Mix 681g

These are incredibly salty and taste nothing like buttermilk and honey they are very savoury tasting due to the high salt content, after reading the ingredients panel there is 560mg of sodium salt (23%) and 3mg of sugar (less than 1%) per every 1/3 of the box. I’ll stick the brand I used before which has low salt and actually tastes great. I was looking forward to trying these but one bite in was like backing a shot from the Dead Sea, tried to eat a bit more and the others I had made and was still horribly salty even with the maple syrup to try and balance it out all I could taste was salt, I also prepared it as directed on the box and used an electric whisk to combine ingredients evenly and smoothly

Really delicious and fluffy pancakes! Lovely rise to them. Quick and easy to make.

I use 2% fat milk, instead of water, which makes a too-thick batter, if you follow their instructions for how much water to use, add another tablespoon or two.
