Terra Fi Lite Leather M's, Men's Ankle Strap Sandals

Good fit, comfortable at a good price.

Purchased for my Dad to replace his missing pair, he has walked miles and miles and miles with them for nearly two years and they are still going strong. They are true to size and he finds them really comfy,

Upon reseaching and trying, these are the second best for travelling, hiking and beach. I looked at Teva Terra Fi Lite Leather old edition, manufacturer's code 8749 (not the new 1012072 edition with worsened sole and the straps coming out from the middle of the sole rather than its outer edges). Returned them, mostly as I needed a smaller size, but there were other reasons for leaving Teva. These are good sandals whose main design advantage is anatomically correct placement of the front strap, which holds the foot by its ball, where the toe joints are. It does not collapse the toes by loading them with side force. It results in a remarkable feeling of lightness, like walking almost barefoot. So, in theory, it is an excellent design. The upper straps are very stiff, so one may want to work them a bit, but there is neoprene soft padding under them. The sole is soft on the inside and grippy on the outside. There is a thin rather basic leather insole glued down, which looks like an afterthought as the grooves under the leather are so pronounced that they pinch the skin when the sole flexes. These sandals do not feel as comfortable as Geox "U Terreno + Grip B", although still better than Merrell Kahuna III and much better than ECCO Yucatan Sport. Discomfort is due to a combination of sole and strap stiffness, no "fits like a glove" feeling, and a sense of lower protection from rocks and thorns. I've got a feeling that they may start rubbing on the first long walk. When I changed them to Geox, there was a feeling of relief. When walking in a room, they make a flapping noise... Beware of the new model, where the straps are attached to the sole not on the sides, but rather coming out through the holes in the insole, thus reducing width. The new model sole is not as grippy too, and there are reviews of it failing. Regarding size - measure the foot and follow the sizing table. It is quite accurate. The sandal size has to be smaller by 0.5-1 UK size than a normal formal shoe or walking boot. It is wider than average, which makes the toes feel great.

These are exactly as I expected and feel comfortable - the true test will come when we use them on our holiday in Andalusia and with long periods hiking and on our feet though! They look as good as these type sandals can, TEVA have done a nice job of keeping things simple and understated and not falling into the horrible and fussy detailing that are ageing to the wearer and a trap these sandals tend to often fall into (looking at you Merrill!). I was a bit nervous having realised these were to be shipped by activeinstinct, which seems to be another brand used by Millets - after ordering I looked online and saw some of the horrific reviews they have on TrustPilot, but receiving them was painless and I got them in record time the next day. Recommended so far.

We bought it for holiday walking. I tried at home and happy to use it for a week walking at Rome streets. Looks good and feel comfortable.

I like the design of these sandals.Nice and simple.Unfortunately I have worn them twice a total of only 40 kilometres and they have sliced my feet in different areas on both occasions.It appears the stitching on the internal padding is abrasive.I wear sandals all the time and have five pairs at present non of which have ever cut my feet.My feet are hard and walk about a hundred kilometres a week.Also I have noticed that the anchorage for the straps in the soles is very poor and I suspect the will not last.If I tape my feet I think a handful of walks would finish them.I f a strap fails I will ask for a refund.They are certainly not value for north of fifty pounds.

These sandals fit perfectly and are more comfortable than any sandals I've ever owned. In fact they are probably as comfortable as any shoes I've worn. They are easily adjusted to get just the right fit for you foot shape and provide excellent support, enabling you to walk on pavements, footpaths and around the yard. I plan on getting a second pair for just wearing around the house, as they feel better on my feet than house slippers.

Wanted something light n flexible and these are a bit 'clumpy'.

Habe die Sandalen extra in der Gr.44,5 bestellt, habe normal Gr.43, aber so passt es optimal. Schön leicht, gute einstellmöglichkeiten, sehr gut.

Der Schuh ist sehr bequem, aber er stinkt und mit ihm stinken infolge die Füße! Nicht auszuhalten!

Alles bestens und ich kann den Artikel weiterempfehlen.

der Geruch gibt sich nach einigen wochen, ansonsten wie alle Tewas, super für Fans, absolut outdoorfest
