Ice packs are small and pliable, the fabric lining on one side helps regulate the temperature on your skin, I have had no problems with breaking or leaking even after using the ice packs over night and folded in half. They freeze quickly, because they are so small, they do defrost quickly though as well, but because this pack comes with 6 you can rotate them in and out of the freezer. Our dog just had knee surgery and needed something for swelling. He's just a hair over 40 lbs, so a medium-sized dog, and these pucks are absolutely the PERFECT size for our purposes. The gel is nice and flexible so it molds around the contours nicely, but they're firm enough to be able to apply good compression. The ace bandage-style wrap with the pocket is fabulous. The pocket is large enough to hold 2 pucks with just enough space between them that it makes it easy to wrap around his knee and inner thigh so we can ice both sides of his knee at the same time and not have to hold the pucks in place. They also stay cold for a good long time. I left them out for about 20 minutes after his 15-minute ice down and they were still plenty cold. They also chill quickly, so they're ready for his next session with no problems. I have not tried them heated yet. I like that they come in a bag to keep them contained and safe from punctures in the freezer. Having them as a 6 pack is awesome, especially for our purposes. He has also had swelling in his upper thigh and his ankle, so I can easily place one on his thigh with the edge tucked into the wrap to keep it in place. The fabric backing is fine for that area and is adequate for skin protection there. For his ankle, I just use a tea towel to give him a little more protection since the hair is so thin there. I can put a puck on the inside and outside of his ankle, too. We have been using 5 pucks at a time and it's been working wonderfully. He seems relaxed and comfortable while getting iced down, so these have been great. The size truly is perfect for the dog, but I know we hoomans will find a good use for them, as well! I foresee using them heated for sinus pain relief.

I purchased these because I’m currently getting laser hair removal on my face, specifically my chin and upper lip, and these little guys have definitely come in handy! I especially love the strap they include because it makes it so easy to hold them securely in place. The only reason I didn’t give them a full 5 stars is because I wish they stayed cold a little longer. Other than that, I really don’t have any complaints. Nothing is perfect, but these come pretty close! I love them and would definitely recommend them, especially for anyone getting facial laser hair removal.

I loved the personal note about the company that was in the order. I feel that they genuinely are concerned about providing a simple but effective ice pack. It was perfect for a sprained finger.

Perfect for after blepharoplasty surgery. I wasn’t expecting these to be as good as they are. The sleeve that holds the gel packs is a game changer (so convenient) . The packs stay cold for a good 20 minutes. I also like the convenient bag to freeze the packs inside your freezer. . My only complaint is the sleeves are not sold separately so I just wash and dry it daily. If you’re having eyelid surgery I highly recommend.

I purchased these ice packs specifically because the instructions stated they were microwave-safe for heat therapy. I followed the directions exactly, and one of the packs exploded in my microwave, creating a huge mess and a potential safety hazard. Thankfully no one was injured, but this could have been much worse. That said, they did work very well as cold packs and stayed cold for a good amount of time. I just would strongly caution others before heating them in the microwave as advertised.

I bought these ice packs in preparation for recovery from a planned surgery. They have been a HUGE help & very durable - you’ll use them for a long time beyond the initial reason you’re buying them. I have 5 kids & they’ve used the ice packs as well, for everything from a headache to a bruise to just for cooling. None of the 6 have broken yet. They have a cloth-feel fabric backing on one side, and slick plastic on the other side. If you’re not putting the ice pack in a washcloth or some other fabric, it’s still pretty comfortable to use the cloth-like side. They do rinse off ok as well. I let mine dry again before putting back into the freezer. The zip closure bag they come in is useful to store the ice packs in, in your freezer, so they don’t get lost or food on them. They are small so they don’t stay cold that long, as expected, but with 6 of them, you can rotate them out & put the warm ones back in the freezer. They’ll be cold again quickly so you can use them by the time the last one is warm.

I had some surgery and these were perfect for fitting over my eyes. Because there is 6 of them, I could rotate them frequently enough since they warm up much faster than a regular cooling pack (on account of the size this is to be expected).

I used these to ice my skin before doing IVF injections. They worked well but of course they’re small so the coldness doesn’t last long. It worked perfectly for the timing to do the injections though and I would recommend for that purpose.

The size is perfect for my use on my ankle. However I wish there was 2 bandages instead of one, so that I could use it on both my ankles at one time.

This is just perfect! We use this for pain in hand. Elastic band with pocket for ice pack is great and really easy for usage. We highly recommend it!
